Being a government college, the fees have been kept at par as compared to other institutes for affordability for the students. Several scholarships are also available for financially less-aided students. Placement opportunities for chemistry courses are almost negligible. However, many internship programs are available for all stream students.
When I got admission in 2015, the College was in Karampura, Delhi and it was an old building so, the fees were less at that time. In the first year, I paid 12000 and also got a scholarship worth 8000 in the first year. Then the college shifted to Dwarka, Delhi. And the infrastructure of the campus is excellent now hence, the fees hiked and I paid approximately 14-15K in the last two years. But the college gives so many scholarships which students can avail themselves of.
The fees are low for B.Sc(H) Chemistry as compared to other colleges(mainly private colleges). Scholarships are provided for students who are academically sound and also for students who are financially weak.
The fees for one year for my course was 19,345 and this was the fees for nearly all the colleges of Delhi University and they told that out of this 7 thousand is for studying and rest is for co-curriculum but there were very few co-curriculum activities in my college and grounds were very small and not so much space to play a big sport. I didn't get any financial help or scholarship or stipend from college. They published about scholarships and I applied but didn't get it, the reason, I don't know. I think the rate of the college is high and it should be decreased.
The fees are nearly 19000 which increases by 700-800 in a year. Many scholarship and financial assistance are provided by DU for the students in need. I got a Dyson Internship with a 12000 per month stipend.
In this college fees are relatively more than the other colleges because it comes in top colleges of the University of Delhi my fees are 19335 and fees is too but the college is nice staff and faculty.
The fees structure of my course was approximately INR 10,000 for two years. I had to pay this amount in two instalments. The first instalment is to be made at the time of admission and the second is to be made after the completion for Ist year. The examination fees, library access fees, etc. are included in this only.
