An Enriching Journey: Navigating Through College Adventures

E
6.8 /10

My experience at college was multifaceted and rewarding. The educational environment offered a blend of theoretical learning and practical exposure through labs and industrial tours, fostering holistic growth. Despite the pandemic's impact, the available facilities like the library, gym, and engaging student programs contributed significantly to my overall development, making it a memorable phase.

Course Curriculum :

My course syllabus remains fairly up-to-date. Previously, I used to have tours of industrial facilities and spent most of my days engaged in lab work before COVID-19. However, after the pandemic hit, these tours were discontinued, and lab activities became limited. Nevertheless, the labs offer an impressive hands-on experience.

Exams :

Highschool and IELTS 6 was the requirement. Before starting college, I had to take English tests. Depending on the scores, there were English courses required to be completed each semester. Additionally, there was a mathematics test based on the chosen program. Due to my excellent high school mathematics score, I was exempt from taking the test. SOP, included my interest in the course, background, gap between high-school and post graduate application.

Placement :

College offers opportunity to take co-op. As well as there is a website from college where we can access jobs for the course. Also on a frequent basis the faculty member sends emails including job opportunities that's suitable for us.

Fees :

$37344 approximately.

Faculty :

In my class, there were approximately 40 students. During theory sessions, everyone remains in the same class with one professor. However, during the lab sections, the class is divided in half. One portion attends one lab, while the other section attends a lab for a different course.

Campus Life :

There were common student areas equipped with games that facilitated interaction among students. Additionally, there were occasional programs held during celebrations, such as quizzes or other events. Other facilities, such as the library, gym, indoor basketball court, table tennis area, canteen, free WiFi, public computers, and printers, were also available.

Hostel :

I was sharing with my friend in a house in the same city. I paid around 500 dollars per month including utilities.
