- I choose this University because it is one of the best universities to pursue cybersecurity.
- Concordia University have a very good professors along with the right infrastructure to pursue your desired degree. It have a wide on campus work for students which really helped me balancing my work and study properly.
Dislikes
- The Campus stretch of Sir George William Campus is huge but it does not look like a campus , more like a street with lots of building as compared to the other campus of Concordia which is the Loyola Campus.
Required Exams for Admission
Overall experience is good as I have learnt a lot of things here like balancing my studies along with the work to take care of my living expense, learning new culture.
Course Curriculum
The course syllabus is very much updated with many chances of research experiences which are initiated by the university professors.
Faculty
No certain ratio that can be describes as the classes were all elective except some core subjects, but that also we had full independence in choosing them in any semester. My favorite professor is Professor Jeremy Clark.
Campus Life
Campus life, campus infrastructure events, extracurricular activities is great here. We have a 24h open library with much updated infrastructure such as Desktops, silent rooms, presentation practice rooms, group discussion rooms etc.
Placement
University organizes of career fairs. I am currently in my final semester so do not have that great idea about the number of placed students, but there are quite a number of companies visited here by participating in the career fairs.
Accommodation
500 - 800 CAD for a single sharing room in an apartment.
Exams
My IELTS Score: 7; minimum requirement set by the university was :6. No GRE was required that time. I had submitted, 3 LORs, 1 SOP, college transcript, CV, test scores.
Fees
33000 CAD (5 semesters).
