The overall experience with Sheridan college is really great. I have explore many opportunities and many skills in my self. Learned a lot not just in Study but like professional skills and everything that can create my better future.
Course Curriculum :
Well to be honest my architectural course is so practical and we are having all the assignments and group projects as we actually work in filed so the experience we get from Here during Study is so real. The syllabus is also good that helps to improve the software skills as well.
Exams :
Well, the main requirements for Sheridan college is IELTS 6.5 not less then 6. Also it accept PTE and TOEFL as well. Well I have applied my visa with all this document Sop, CV and LOR. Also, I have one refusal so I have reapplied with strong financial documents and some documents that support my background studies.
Placement :
Well it depends on the course and demand like few IT students get like $50 k to $70 k starting package and like architectural students have $40k to $60k so yeah that's the basic salary if you can make it to the full time job.
Internship :
I have done 2 coop terms with Sheridan college. First was with architectural firm and second is in Sheridan college as a staff over here.
Fees :
The 1 semester total fees are around $9000 and which have some including everything like health insurance, campus charge students id card money which help you to use that on campus and have better experience with facilities over here.
Scholarship :
I have received entrance scholarship of $2000 per in 2 semester as 1 semester $1000.
Faculty :
So the bond between students and professor are so great like few of them are just like having senior friends who can help you with any doubts. The connection usually by the slat Sheridan or we can directly meet them on campus. The response of some professor are so quiet few takes time so yeah it is good.
Campus Life :
The reason I have selected the HMC campus is the structure of this campus is great architectural the design and facility over here is so useful for all the students. We have library, resources room, material library, creative commences. And a lot this are here. Which makes our experience worth full to be here.
Hostel :
So I am not using the college residency as we don't have in hmcs but we have in Davis and TRC campus. I have sharing condo with my other students which make me to pay $500 for Sharing Room and utilities are included not only electricity bill and WiFi.
