Georgian College Sciences Programs
Georgian College Science programs include theoretical and practical components through a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical learning. Students learn in their fully equipped, state-of-the-art simulation labs where they’ll enjoy hands-on, practical training with equipment they’ll use on the job. Students also gain real-world experience and develop specialized skills in the Health and Wellness Clinics, located on campus in Barrie and open to the public. They get to learn from passionate, experienced Georgian faculty who bring expert industry knowledge to the classroom. Many programs are accredited by provincial and national associations or qualify as the first step to becoming licensed within your scope of practice.

I am a Physiotherapist from India and wanted to pursue fitness as well as physiotherapy in Canada. I learned about my course through online research and applied for it. The admission process was fairly simple, with submitting transcripts, SOP, IELTS, and resume. I chose Georgian college as it was well known for the course and it also ranks number 1 for co-op studies. I am enjoying my course a lot and also get to learn through it.

Georgian College accepts PTE Academic as one of the ELP tests required for international admissions. The minimum PTE Academic score requirement for Graduate Certificate admission is 61.
Georgian College offers an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology program. Students seeking admission in this program must have Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent with English and Mathematics. International students must have a valid ELP test score as well.
Yes, the program requires IELTS or any other equivalent English language proficiency test score for admission. The language of instruction at Georgian College is English. In addition to the academic admission requirements, if English is not your first language and/ or you are coming from a country where English is not an official language, you must provide proof of language proficiency.
