Georgian College offers a curriculum focused on interprofessional education and patient-centred care. Quality work placements and outstanding labs allow students to gain valuable experience. In addition, their students have the opportunity for experiential learning in their clinics, which are open to the public. These programs include theoretical and practical components through a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical learning. Students learn in the fully equipped, state-of-the-art simulation labs where they’ll enjoy hands-on, practical training with equipment they’ll use on the job.
Students Gain real-world experience and develop specialized skills in our Health and Wellness Clinics, located on campus in Barrie and open to the public. They get to learn from passionate, experienced Georgian faculty who bring expert industry knowledge to the classroom. They engage in clinical placements in a variety of settings in their community.

Georgian College offers an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology program. Students seeking admission in this program must have Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent with English and Mathematics. International students must have a valid ELP test score as well.
Yes, the program requires IELTS or any other equivalent English language proficiency test score for admission. The language of instruction at Georgian College is English. In addition to the academic admission requirements, if English is not your first language and/ or you are coming from a country where English is not an official language, you must provide proof of language proficiency.
