  • This course gives students the opportunity to work closely with an academic mentor to develop high-level research skills. The Bachelor of Engineering Advanced (Honours) follows the structure of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), with extension activities and alternative assessments designed to stimulate and realise their full academic potential.
  • Students will complete 12 weeks of industrial experience, which is required at the end of the third year of studies. The Engineering Summer Placement program, available through our Cooperative Programs, offers high-achieving students the opportunity for paid placements.
  • This degree is exclusively for high-achieving students, and will continually challenge you to do even better and build on your academic success. Students in the Advanced degree program are automatically enrolled in The Academy, which offers interdisciplinary leadership programs, professional development and local and international internship and engagement opportunities for students.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Successful Completion of Global Assessment Certificate with a GPA of 2.0.
  • Successful completion of Cambridge International or Edexcel GCE O Level examinations with at least 2 Credits and 2 Passes in 4 core subjects.
  • Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

For Indian Students:

  • Indian Higher Secondary School Certificate (State Boards): Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate with a pass of 70% in best 4 core subjects
  • All India School Certificate (CBSE): Successful completion of AISCE (CBSE) with an overall GPA of 60% in the best 4 core subjects
  • Indian School Certificate (ISC): Successful completion of ISCE with an overall GPA of 60% in the best 4 core subjects
