  • I think everything I have come across till now, I have really liked in my University. However, if I had to think about it, I love walking but for people who might not, the campus is quite huge. Not everyone likes walking, rather running to classes so if you are not one to "go on a walk" when you have to attend a class, make sure your schedule does not make you run around different areas of campus like mine did in the first semester of freshman year!

Course Curriculum:

I think the Course Curriculum and Academics are very up to date and everything that I have been taught here will be very helpful to me in the future. As a freshman, I have not yet had a chance to gain any industrial or research experience.

  • The limitations of Placement program could have been elaborated well in advance. It would be beneficial for university to provide more detailed information about placement rates, alumni success stories, and resources for job searching to help students feel more confident about their post-certifications plans. It can be little bit frustrating not knowing what opportunities are available after getting the certificate or how to access them. Without proper guidance or transparency from the career services department, students may feel uncertain about their future prospects. If college doesn't have strong connections with companies or provide resources for networking and job hunting, students may struggle to find employment in their field of study.

Course Curriculum:

The course was well structured. The curriculum clearly articulated all the latest market trends & patterns, including updated business case studies.

  • Dislikes:
  • The location is really isolated and is inaccessible especially for international students. It takes a minimum of 2 hours to reach campus from the nearest airport which is in Boston. Being a vegetarian, the food options in the canteen are also limited.

Course Curriculum:

The course syllabus was well aligned with other universities and we got hands-on lab experience with the use of FPGA technologies that bettered our understanding of embedded systems.

Fees:

$64000 per year.

Course Curriculum:

The courses and curriculum are good. Syllabus is structured properly and ensure to provide us with hands on experience. Projects and assignments are practical oriented. For industrial exposures, there are some courses as well as student organizations. For research experience, we can do independent study with professors.

Fees:

It's around $16000 a semester if we take 2 offline courses and one online course. It can be more if we take 3 in offline classes.

  • I don’t have anything to dislike as of much but one thing I can say is that it is pretty secluded as the university is located in a remote town called Amherst, it would have been nice if the university was in a city or if I had joined a university in a city

Course Curriculum:

The syllabus is according to industry standards and all the subjects are regarding real world projects.

Fees:

USD 60000.

The program aims to meet the growing demand for high-level information systems/science skills. It provides a path for individuals from diverse fields to rapidly transition to data science careers. It enables established IT and computing professionals to upgrade technical management and development skills.

This university is one of the good universities for Masters in Data Science. It is also close to where my spouse works.
