- The Medical Dosimetry graduate program at Grand Valley is designed to give either the student wishing to become a medical dosimetrist or the board certified dosimetrist wishing to earn a MS degree the opportunity to use some of the most cutting edge technology in the field. The curriculum is a research-based graduate program that prepares dosimetrists to be leaders in the field of medical dosimetry and radiation oncology.

- Distinctive program. One of only four graduate medical dosimetry programs in the nation, and the only university in Michigan to offer the degree.
- Experience based. Features a strong field experience and internship component.
- Small student to faculty ratio. Strong clinical component ensures a faculty to student ratio of no greater than 2:1.
- Accreditation pending through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiation Therapy (JCERT).
- Convenient and flexible. Courses are offered at the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences in downtown Grand Rapids. About 85 percent of the courses are offered either online or in an online/in-person hybrid format.
- Twenty-two credit degree completion option for current CMD's to obtain their M.S. degree.
- GVSU has a state-of-the-art treatment planning lab that can be used while on campus or remotely to supplement treatment planning experience.
