- The University of California, Irvine, is known for its high-quality research output and for drawing the brightest students worldwide. Also, its faculty actively engages in ML research, which piques my interest. I wanted to work with Professor Chen Li in the areas of data analytics and data visualization.,

This school has one of the nicest campuses I have ever seen. I enjoy the atmosphere. People are friendly and helpful. Also, the school was good for the program I was interested in (business). The school also has many opportunities as they are in a hub of corporations.
Overview:
It is close to home, easy to travel back home and to campus. Overall, I heard it was a great campus for students who are first time generation, a lot of resources that can help a student out financially and educationally.
Overview:
Because of its strong research base and amazing research opportunities in materials science even at an undergraduate level. Besides that being a part of a University of California has added benefits in terms of exploring studies in other UC campuses during breaks. Thirdly, as an international student from India, the SoCal weather is a boon!
Scholarship:
No I haven?t availed any scholarship or financial aid. However, I have applied to a few quarterly based scholarships on campus offered by the student government ASUCI and some by companies through the school of engineering
Overview:
They have an excellent program in a good location and was far enough away from my family so that I could have independence and really learn what I wanted to do. I have met a lot of my friends here and have grown immensely.

I do not receive any financial aid as they do not have merit-based financial aid and I have not received any scholarships because I haven't applied for any. I hope to apply for some scholarships in the future.
