  • Dislikes:
  • The MIS department of my college is degrading in terms of quality of teaching, in terms of coursework.,
  • No help is provided to students in their job findings and placements. Students are not allowed to Coop which is big No.

Hostel:

I live in off-campus accommodation; the rent per month is between $500 and $600, depending on the number of shared rooms.

I chose this college because of its reputation in particular: good infrastructure, good location, and cultural diversity. Overall the experience was good in terms of everything except my coursework and faculty of Information Management.

  • Dislikes:
  • While I don't have any specific dislikes, navigating through numerous faculty issues at times was challenging. Overall, my experience was positive, but these challenges occasionally affected the university's environment.

Off campus housing - 2/2 apartment - USD 700 per month in rent.

My experience at Texas A&M University was nothing short of extraordinary. Stepping onto the campus, I was immediately immersed in the quintessential American college atmosphere I had always dreamed of. The vibrant student culture, diverse community, and rich traditions made every day an adventure. Football games at the iconic Kyle Field were the epitome of school spirit, filling the air with electric energy and uniting us as Aggies. The camaraderie among the large student body was infectious, creating a sense of belonging that I had never felt before. Participating in various clubs and organizations allowed me to explore my interests, make lifelong friendships, and expand my horizons. The university's commitment to academic excellence was evident in every lecture hall, challenging me to grow intellectually and personally. The campus, adorned with historic buildings and modern facilities, provided the perfect backdrop for my collegiate journey. But it was the little things, like the Aggie Ring ceremony and the Midnight Yell Practice, that made my experience truly special. These traditions instilled a deep sense of pride in being part of the Aggie family. Attending Texas A&M University was more than just earning a degree; it was an immersive and unforgettable chapter of my life, shaping me into the person I am today. I am grateful for the memories, friendships, and lessons that will stay with me forever. Gig 'em, Aggies!

  • Dislikes:
  • One main thing I dislike is the location. The university is situated in a town or a suburb area here. Not much access to the metro facilities. But on the bright side, big cities like Houston and Austin are just 90 mins away

Hostel:

Many good apartment communities are available nearby with an average tent of 500 dollars for a single room.

Overall experience has been good so far. With the right coursework, professors, extracurricular activities to do and the people around, university life has been great so far.

Live off campus $350 per month for a single room in 2bed 1bath apartment 1km away from my department. University buses have a great connectivity.

Good Program, Good Alumni Network, and closer to major cities like Houston, Austin, and Dallas.
