MIT Nuclear Engineering Programs

Massachusetts Institute of Technology being one of the world's leading academic departments in nuclear science and engineering, thier mission is to help develop the next generation of technical leaders of the global nuclear enterprise and to provide technical leadership in energy and non-energy applications of nuclear technology. The coursework focuses on building real-world skills applicable in the nuclear industry, and related careers in utilities, medical technologies, policy, innovative new technologies, research, computational analysis, and consulting (and more). Students learn both design principles and research methodology.
