Likes
- It has good programs, especially stem programs.
- I was an undergraduate student who worked as a teaching lab assistant.
- I have also been able to travel to a medical conference that was paid for by my university.
Dislikes
- It’s in downtown Atlanta. It can be a bit unsafe, and the university will take a while to release funds
- As well as not having a small class ratio, which can impact how students interact with the professor.
It’s near my home and accepts all my AP scores. It also accepted the Hope Scholarship in my state. It has been very good, I’ve been able to grow a lot and even be a lab teaching assistant! I am also very involved in the club and am on several executive boards!
Course Curriculum
The science program is very rigorous and well structured.
Faculty
Faculty can range from 1 professor to 40 students, or 1 professor per 200 students. It depends on the course.
Campus Life
There are lots of options for clubs and activities! You have lots of options, ranging from the Red Cross to premed programs and Greek life.
Placement
Medical schools visit a lot, as do companies, for hiring events. Grady Hospital and Emory go a lot to recruit.
Accommodation
I have a student apartment that I share with roommates.
Exams
-SAT: 1190, and AP scores ranging from 3 to 5. A 3 in AP World History and AP Biology,5 in AP Lang and AP Spanish, and 4 in AP Psychology -10th- A -12th- A -I did not have to turn in anything. However, I did participate in interviews for scholarship opportunities. -Interviews: No
