Sarish Chavan Review at Illinois Institute Of Technology [ILLINOIS TECH], Chicago | Collegedunia

My experience about IIT

I enrolled in this university as this was a private university and had a rank of 23 all over the world in the field of computer science. My overall experience with the university was pretty good and I got to learn new technologies and new subjects.

Course Curriculum :

Course Curriculum is manageable here, you get to learn so many new things.

Exams :

- To get an admit from IIT you have to give GRE And TOEFL. In GRE your scores needs to be above 300 and for TOEFL your score needs to be above 90. - For SOP I was enrolled with the consultancy and I took my LORs from my college professors. They guided me really well. - Interview round: You just have to give them honest answers about your interests and your experience.

Placement :

There are too many research opportunities for students. You get to learn new technologies and you can also work under professors.

Internship :

No, I haven't opted for any Internship programs.

Fees :

Tuition Fee: 70000

Scholarship :

Yes, I received Scholarship of $10000.

Faculty :

Professors are very well versed. Almost each of the Professor has done Phd.

Campus Life :

Campus has too many activities in fall and spring in which students can take part.

Hostel :

I live off campus which is near my college.
