Vishant Bhole Review at Illinois Institute Of Technology [ILLINOIS TECH], Chicago | Collegedunia

My Masters Experience

In my experience living far from family and study has great impact on once character. We need to get socially active otherwise you will be left alone here, this will impact your brain and your academics. In University try to be as active as possible this will prepare you for what's coming in future for you. Try to focus on what you are interested in apart from what others are doing.

Course Curriculum :

Had great experience in new technology while working on project under professor. New hardware were provided as needed for research purpose.

My scores: GRE - 145 Verbal, 155 Quant 3 Writing, IETLS - 7 minimum score: GRE 290, IELTS 6, TOEFL - 90.

Lot of companies visited, Infosys, TIBCO, Verizon, Nokia, CCC, etc. Many of the companies were providing internships for the freshers. And fulltime opportunities for the experienced one.

I didn't opted for any internship as I wanted to focus more on academics.

Fees :

In 2017-19 the tuition per credit was around 1400$-1500$.

Faculty :

The ratio was not that bad. Professors were interested in mentoring more students if students are interested in learning.

Campus Life :

Campus had recreational center for daily extracurricular activities. We had Table tennis, snooker and other things to enjoy at international center.

Hostel :

I have no experience living in university housing. We rented nearby apartments the cost was approx. 350$/person when shared 2BHK with 4 people.
