Camryn Johnson Review at Bethel University, Saint Paul | Collegedunia

Excellent choice

6.7 /10

I chose to attend Bethel University because I knew it was a Christian school and I knew others that had attended. When I started looking for colleges to attend, these are the reasons why Bethel caught my eye.

Course Curriculum :

I am very fond of the course curriculum. I have found that Bethel University has many courses for students to take, to help them decide if the major they have chosen is the right fit for them. Within a chosen major, there are many interesting classes to take.

Exams :

To get into Bethel University, I had to take the ACT. I believe the minimum ACT requirement to get into Bethel is an 18, but I could be mistaken.

Placement :

Placements and job opportunities are excellent. Within my major of social work, I have found that there are many connections to different businesses and corporations in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.

Internship :

Yes, Bethel does provide internship. Within your chosen major, there are opportunities to have an internship, before getting out of college and having a job. I do not think that Bethel pays students to have an internship.

Events :

Some of the events celebrated in college include homecoming, spring formal, Easter, Christmas, and of course, welcoming students when they first arrive on campus. Bethel does a good job of making sure that students feel welcome.

Fees :

Bethel University is around $45,000 per year. There are opportunities to receive financial aid through the FAFSA and other scholarships. Bethel also gives out academic scholarships. There is an extra charge for living on campus.

Scholarship :

Yes, my family filled out the FAFSA, when I applied for college. My parents pay for most of my schooling.

Examination Structure :

The exam structure varies by class. In most of my classes, we have a mid-term and a final. In some classes, there are also a few other tests throughout the course. Most tests are given on paper, some are given on the computer.

Faculty :

The faculty at Bethel is very kind. While many of the classes can be difficult, like any college or higher institution, I have found that the professors really want to see students succeed.

Hostel :

I would make sure that the place that I am managing is welcoming to all kinds of people. I would want people to feel like they chose a good place to live. I think it is important to make a place you are managing inviting.
