The student-faculty ratio is reasonable and I am highly satisfied with the course. Teachers are highly qualified and are very supportive. Term exams are held on an annual basis and mid-semester exams are conducted every quarter. There are vivas now and then.
I chose this course as I always wanted to be a doctor but didn't want to do mbbs. Also, I wanted to be a surgeon so I opted for this. It's a great course if done with enough experience you can earn more than most doctors out there. Faculty used to be nice here but not anymore. Some old stuff is left which is still very helpful. It has around 500-700 students. And also provide internships. Most of the staff is very well qualified and MDS. There's nothing to lie about the teaching practices still used in our country. which all depend on books. If you can ratify it you will pass it. Still cramming words is inspired by students. Patients are also fewer here. Every year two MSTs are taken and then PUC one month before the UC which are the final exams. The two practicals are taken at PUC and UC. Passing is at 50% which is not very hard to score.
The exam is conducted on time. No issues with that. The difficulty can be subjected. 80% of the paper is from the syllabus that is taught. 20% can be there to test your knowledge. Total 3 exams will be there. No semester system. Final exams carry the most weight. Have 20 marks mcq and 80 marks theory.
The fees of the college according to the BDS program is quite feasible. I also paid an additional charge of accommodation fees, food charges. Also, transportation charges are paid by us.
The fee structure of bachelor of dental surgery is around 15 lakhs which is really expensive and not an easy amount to afford. However, the institution provides with good education and facilities. Still the fees is not very affordable and feasible.
The fee is expensive i.e. Rs. 3 lakhs per annum, but in return the facilities the college is providing like well experienced laboratory staff, well equipped departments, latest instruments for practical and treatment, multidimensional laboratories etc.
Charge structure is conceivable, secretary and costs grouping staff is similarly amazingly co employable and appreciation, there are rules and strictions related to read and charge settlement for a wide scope of cost variety whether it is for curricular activities, event and limits, study or demo trip for understudies, summer or winter trip, appraisal form, etc.
The fee for dental college will always be a bit more when compared to engineering or arts or any other colleges but if you are determined about what you want to do then money wont be a hindrance for it. The fee structure is split in semester wise and if paid late then the candidate would be fined.
For Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) the fee was little high than average but with good facilities and internships provided by them justifies it. For 4 academic years it cost me around INR 3.2 LAKHS, the hostel fee is also feasible. People from other states have also enrolled in our college.
For pursing the BDS fee is a little high, as compared to all of the other dental colleges, Fee may vary according to your NEET result and also according belong from SC/ST & OBC Category some rebate for them and scholarship programs also run by the college.
