There is no fee hike policy in the college as it is a government-affiliated college though there are 2 types of seats GAS and SFS. There is our alumni association that provides over 100 scholarships.
Being a core branch, seats in Mechanical are GAS i.e. Govt. Affiliated Seats so fees are very low only 15315 per semester as compared to Computer Science because its SFS i.e. self financed seat 30315 per semester. You have to pay the same fees for the rest of the 7 semesters same as the 1st sem. There is no any fees hike policy. At the time of admission, you have to pay fees for the first sem + 7500 caution money that you can get back and the end of your course. In the first year, there are a lot of scholarships available that you can avail being in a govt. College. For eg. NSF scholarship, Sumedha Scholarship, Yashah Sumedha, MBM alumni etc. In the first year, I applied for Siemens Scholarship Program and got selected. Now my whole fees are paid by Scholarship and I get 30000 extra as allowance for the whole year along with internships from Siemens.
Our college has two types of seats 1.Gas seat: Government aided seat fees are less in comparison to SFS seats. Fees: 30,000 per annum 2.SFS (Self funded Seat): Fees:42500 per annum. There is some scholarship provided by colleges: 1.Mukhymantri High education Scholarship 2 one more scholarship for SC/ST candidates 3.Some companies also get scholarships.
There is no such kind of scholarship available in college for students. There are many scholarship for girls students but they don't know about that which is a drawback.
