Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility: Candidates are required to have done BPTH/BHMS/BAMS/B. Pharm from any recognised university to be eligible for the MPH programme.

NOTE: University conducts admission on 30 seats for MPH programme.

Course name: MPE

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Those candidates who have done MD/MS/ PhD in Life Sciences Advanced Training in Medical/ Health Science Education are eligible for the MPE programme.

NOTE: There are 20 seats for MPE course.

Admission Guidelines

Selection for MPH programme is made on the basis of entrance test conducted by the University. Those candidates who’ll qualify the test will have to appear for an interview conducted by the team constituted by the University. On the basis of Entrance test and interview, a merit list will be released for taking admission to the course.

NOTE:

Once the candidates find their name in the merit list, they have to confirm the admission by paying the prescribed fees.

M.Sc and MHPE Selection Criteria

The candidate has to take the MUHS CET for selection.
The medium of the test is English.
The examination consists of 50 MCQs, amounting to 100 marks.
For every correct answer, two marks will be awarded. There is no negative marking.
The duration of the examination is one hour and a half.
Tie breaker: In the event of a tie, the following procedures will be used to determine the candidate who goes ahead:
- Level 1: The candidate with more aggregate marks in HSC;
- Level 2: If still a tie, the candidate with more marks in SSC will be selected;
- Level 3: If still a tie, the candidate who is older will be preferred.
