I like to the environment and teachers there

I think everything is good except little bit of insta infrastructure from issues

I will rate it 8 out of 10 this University has less fees with good quality teacher so if you someone is here they can get good quality education. Both Gujarati and English medium is taught. there is no place for student taking courses in Hindi.

The curriculum is well planned and thought out. This curriculum makes us ready for the real world and greatly helps is choosing the carrer ahead. The faculty's are very experienced in their field and have knowledge outside their working-profession which greatly helps in choosing our future paths. Exsms are conducted a at every semester end and are quite easy to crack.

Amazing College

Faculty: faculty is amazing in the college. They know what they are teaching. They are experts in their subjects. They are supportive and also gives thorough knowledge regarding different aspects of life.
Management: The management is amazing in college. You don't have to worry about anything. They are ready to help you everytime.

Dislikes

Parking: Parking is not available so you have to park in compound of the college. So it sometimes gets very messy.
Vertical building: Som Lalit building is vertical and only two lifts are available which is tough enough for regular days but gets messy in exam times.

Som lalit college of commerce is affiliated with Gujarat University. Gujarat University have amazing, knowledgeable commerce syllabus which helps in building the knowledge of Commerce overall. The faculty of Som Lalit college of commerce is very much experienced. They know their subjects very well. They are always ready to help students and guide them well. They have always shown interest in teaching which helps motivate the students. It is amazing atmosphere they create that helps students get practical ideas about every subject. Course is completed by faculty before a month of exams which helps students prepare for it easily in the given time.

Collage faculty also good and supporting to students. When any student facing any issues regarding study related so manny facility helping. Some faculty not good the not supporting some time. There is 10 to 12 faculty members and students around 250 Faculty teaching method are also good and attractive Exam times in morning and Exam is very easy.

The curriculum and schedule for whole semester was tentatively available before hand.

Dislikes

Offline Exams were conducted during the COVID period.
Online classes during Covid weren't arranged at the times of covid.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was pursuing CA back then and therefore wanted to enroll in a college where the faculties didn't hassled much into the attendance of the students. The faculties were highly qualified. Most of them help a Phd. in their own subject of teaching. The exams were based on the semester basis and curriculum and time table for them same was communicated before hand.

Campus life is overall bad as you just have to study

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Every year TCS, Infosys, and MNC, companies offer placements for students. The highest package offered is 600000-700000. and the average package offered is 300000-400000? on the job profiles like bankers, etc. Every year 65-70% of students get placed in this college. I am doing B.com + CA, so after graduation and becoming CA my plan is to start searching for jobs and then after 4-5 years, I will start my own practice in CA.

Life at Som Lalit College of Commerce

The faculties are qualified and are very supportive.
The programmes organized by college bring life to the college life

The campus is very small and there is no playground
There is no sports events organized by the college but it is stated before the admission to the students about this

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is widely choosen by students of commerce background, who are not that good in studies or are doing some other course simultaneously, and I am also doing preparation for a competitive exam so I took admission to this course. About Faculty: The student ratio of the faculties are less than the students but there are very few students who go to college regularly so the ratio is maintained.

There is big campus and nice faculty good cleaning staffing. Campus are always clean
The canteen facility in campus is very necessary and good the infrastructure of the campus is very good.

Dislikes

The canteen food is not so good but then also it is eatable.
The time of the college is too early for all the students

The course is well and good the faculty members are also nice to students always. I choose B.Com because there is a wide scope after B.com in my career. The faculty always treat students nice and good. The qualification of the faculty is very good because they are well qualified and their teaching methods are so nice. The exam is in every 6 months and there are not so difficult if the student has attended all the lectures.
