Course Description

All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information. Candidate should log on to the official website AP EAMCET and follow the given steps:

Fill the online application form available at with the necessary information
Pay the application fee via available online payment modes (credit card/debit card/e-banking etc.)
The registration no. will be generated while filling the online application which is to be preserved for future reference
The candidate shall submit the application online
Candidate must take out the print copy of the completed applications which is to be submitted to the invigilator during the examination after affixing a recent colour passport size photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer or Principal of the College where studied qualifying examination.
The candidate must bring the copy of application and the following copies of documents along with the application form.

Hall ticket Qualifying Examination
Hall ticket of S.S.C. or equivalent
Date of Birth
Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BC candidates
Aadhar card Number
PH, NCC, Sports category etc. Certificate.
Income certificate( Income Upton One Lakh or Up to Two Lakhs or More than Two Lakhs )
Certificate for proof of local status (last 12 years)

Important Note: Application form/registration fee IS INR 350/-

Eligibility Criteria

The frequency and timings of examinations is in every 3 months there are three internal exams and one prefinal exams are there in this course , this is the course that I choose because we can handle with patients .

Joining in a government dental college and hospital here in Vijayawada give us so much exposure to the patients so that we get enough experience once we start with our clinical postings
Paid internship- During internship we get stipend of 23k monthly!

Dislikes

The infrastructure. Although it is enough for a 40 student class size
I always wanted a desktop in the library which is not available here

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dentistry is ART! At the start of the course, it felt hectic and boring but now I enjoy learning and practicing dentistry! Our curriculum here is quite hectic but it really really prepares us for the clinical and treatment procedures. The frequency of exams is quite okay. We have 3 internal exams and then final exams. The final exams are difficult and competitive. The internal exams are prepared by the faculty which has its difficulty level. I just suggest getting some more time for exam preparation. In the 1 and 2nd years, we get more time to study but from 3rd year we start with the clinical postings and it will be hard to keep up with the ongoing classes and stuff.

The strength of students is less which very advantageous for us as each on us get individual attention for our growth and learning
As it under Indian army we feel connected with the life in army , the discipline, rules and lifestyle is fascinating.

Dislikes

Our campus is a bit small it is sufficient to accommodate the present strength but we lack in few amenities

Every year we have planned curriculum for academics . All our postings are scheduled in that , the dates of internals are mentioned to be held through out the year . The syllabus is completed before time and ample amount of time is given by the university before final university exams . The daily time table is managed very well we have our theory class for two hours 8:30 to 10:30 am and then we have our clinics for three hours till 1:30 pm . And one theory class after 30 min lunch break . Which convenient for us

When I joined the course I was not at all interested in it but the curriculum made me enthusiastic and help me pursue this course with bit more intrest It examination schedules and paper setting of this college helps me to focus more on the subject Not just like one night study

It has a nice curriculum for 4 years but the examination method was worst kind of a thing in this course .for the bds course we have to wait for 6 months to write the exams if we failed at 1st attempt that was soo unfair . I think if they changed this 6 months referred thing and for final year students have to attend 8 subjects exams that was so difficult to so many students .

The curriculum is very well organised and planned causing a stress free schedule if rightly followed. The clinical exposure to students that enables them to attend patients and learn. The exams might be a little stressed as usual but the staff are always handy to help the students
