  • NA- DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY.

Campus Life:

Loughborough is a university town and hence you will only see students around so it can get a bit lonely during the holiday time. Although the campus life such as the events for students, the activities, sports and all is amazing. there is world-class infrastructure, from the on-campus accommodation to the libraries, WIFI, gym, reading and studying spaces. All are amazing.

Hostel:

I lived off-campus in a student accommodation called Student Beehive. I stayed in a one-bed flat, and I loved the privacy and the accommodation was great. I paid 200 pounds per week inclusive of all utilities, WIFI and laundry.

  • If the university was situated a slighly closer to town, it would be easier for students to attend and enjoy events happening in town. Also it would be easy for attending part-time work since the part-tiem job opportunities is low in campus.

Campus Life:

You would love your campus life. There is a student union equipped with a grocery shop, cafe, bar, working hall, party room, etc. There is a party named FND happening every Friday for students to come to have fun. Wifi is there throughout the campus and it is free when you are a student. There are hotels and restaurants within the campus for guests to stay. Swimming pool, basket ball, football courts are present but it shoud be booked and paid before. There is one football court for students which had to be booked prior. There is a beautiful library along with quiet room for studying where you can acccess along books and e-resources required for your courseworks and final projects.

Hostel:

There is 2 on-campus and 1 off-campus accomodations. John Philips & Falkner Eggington (on-campus accommodation), Harry-french (off-campus accommodation). John Philip rooms are around 7500 - 9000 GBP (studio room with private bathroom), and Falkner Eggington's rooms start from 5000 to 6000 GBP. (studio room with shared bathroom). Rooms will be quite small in falkner. Harry-french are studio rooms. Rooms starting around 6000 - 7000 GBP. If you want a lively amosphere, you can stay in town. Town is 15 mintues walk from uni. I stayed in Falkner Eggington since I prefer uni accomodation and it is close to quite town. Weekly thrice cleaning women clean all rooms, restrooms and will check the working of all appliances and if found faulty, she will order for replacement without incurring any charge on students. Falkner is quite a good accomodation than other two uni accomodations. Safety and security is always ensured in uni accommodations.

  • The life over there can get v lonely. It is not in a proper city, it's a small town, and hence most things close by 6pm and hence it becomes almost like a ghost town.

Campus Life:

There are a lot of societies. The wifi is really nice, like a strong network, but it does disconnect every few hours or so, and you just need to reconnect it. The library is v nice, over 3 floors

Hostel:

I didn't stay on campus, but on campus accommodation is not great. The rooms are quite small and the prices are almost 2 times to that off campus.

Campus Life:

There are alot of clubs and activities that take olave in the university, with different background, expertise and even interest you can any of those clubs. Apart from that university student union celebrated all the festivals and had different activites throughout the year.

Hostel:

Accommodation I used to live in was on-campus, it was an en-suite room with shared kitchen. It was quite good and spacious enough to accommodate a single person.

Campus Life:

Campus life is great. The student Union organizes parties and cultural events every now and then. You need to purchase passes for a nominal amount. The Student Union area is also really cool and has a study area and souvenir shop inside.

Hostel:

We took accommodation nearby. The college is in Loughborough, which is a town in Leicester. There is a bus at regular intervals from the station to the University. The food is really good and cheap. There are multiple small hawkers inside the University apart from the regular mess.

Campus Life:

Amazing and un-forgetful. It is one of the top university in terms of sports infrastructure and it offers sports relevant degree courses too and if you know, Olympics teams use their infrastructures for all sorts of practices and events.

Hostel:

Different case as I was staying with Family and not in hostel so expense wise I was very much in control and I was able to work weekly 20 hours during the weekend which help me pay my Yearly fees comfortably.
