- Our Biomedical Sciences PhD/MSc by Research will provide you with skills necessary to contribute to research that explores the science of the human body and the causes of diseases that affect humankind.
- As part of the School of Biomedical Science, you will work alongside researchers at the leading edge of their field and take advantage of our well-established links with major national centres for research and the local NHS. Our modern facilities, laboratories and prosectorium are well equipped to help you develop your knowledge of the subject through hands on practical tasks and inter-professional working.
- This programme will give you the quality research training you need to enable you to conduct independent investigative research and you will work closely with your supervisory team who will help you clarify your project and support your development. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- A good 2:1 honors degree or an equivalent qualification
- Applicants should hold a Masters qualification at merit level or above
- Any academic and professional qualifications or professional experience will be taken into account
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: minimum 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each band
- TOEFL: minimum 80 with 19 in reading; 19 in listening; 19 in writing and 21 in speaking
- PTE: 64 minimum with 59 minimum in all four skills
- Cambridge English: minimum 169 with 162 in each subskill
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- Applicants should hold a bachelors degree with a completed masters degree
- Minimum 60% required from a recognized university
