  • Students will take part in engaging and stimulating teaching through the university’s interactive and challenging teaching sessions. Students will gain knowledge and skills in key areas such as legal methods, constitutional law, criminal law, and property law. Students can also specialize in a range of subjects including family law, company law, intellectual property law, and human rights depending on their area of interest.
  • The University of Gloucestershire’s ranked 18th in the UK for student satisfaction in Law and 13th for graduate prospects according to the Complete University Guide 2021.
  • Through lectures, seminars, and group work, students will put their learning to the test in-class debates and mooting sessions. Students will learn how to argue a case effectively in court, interview clients, and negotiate agreements, benefitting from simulated trials and tribunals in the Moot Court Room. Students can also take part in both internal and external mooting competitions and become part of successful alumni of previous winners.
  • Students could spend a year on placement through the four-year sandwich course option. Students can also gain work experience throughout their studies, for example as a result of the university’s collaboration with a local law firm on their Family Law module.
  • Students put their theory into practice by advising real-life clients as part of assessed Law Clinic. Students will have the opportunity to shadow a solicitor offering legal advice. All focused on perfectly preparing them for when their graduate.
