Difficulty level of your course curriculum?
* Well, It depends on the course you apply.
* Data Science modules are on mdx website. Most of the modules are easy ,very few are
difficult. One can pass again if one fails in first attempt.

Was it more theoretical, practical, or a mix of both?
Both.

Positive and Negative aspects of your course?
Positive aspects of your course :- The course modules finishes off in April.
Then you have to submit Final Year Data Science Projects
negative aspects of your course :- Please don't fail in any of the modules because Final
results won't be out resulting in the extension time of
placements.
Placement interview call is on Linkedln.

I searched many colleges and applied(to many colleges) through AEC consultancy in Kanpur for Middlesex University and they helped me in admission.

Though I searched for many Universities which were under the threshold lists of IELTS - 6.50.This list of colleges I got from AEC Consultancy. The staff members in that consultancy knew which and how to apply(online) for colleges(under IELTS - 6.50).

In a seminar hosted by AEC where many college Universities representatives came from many different countries(US.UK, Europe, Canada, Singapore, Australia etc), I met a representative from Middlesex University. I wasn't able to clear the interview(on laptop-round first time) from Kanpur office. I went to Middlesex University office in New Delhi and the UK interviewer present in that office was finally impressed by my profile and background.I cleared my interview(2nd attempt) and offer letter came to the Consultancy.

Many Students secure very high in IELTS,GRE,TOEFL etc.,,
My English is very weak. (My IELTS Score is Overall - 6.50).
Reading - 6.50
Writing - 6.00
Listening - 6.50
Speaking -7.0
Good Students secure more than overall - 7.0 atleast.

I was also into the waiting list of other Universities also but since i got admission quickly here I accepted it and left for London UK.

Please apply through consultancy because they know all the Documentation/process(Visa interview issues ,Medical Reports/Tests also took place in Lucknow which I showed in interviews).

1. Background Family and Profile.(Marksheets and )
2. Why do you choose Data Science ? How do you connect your current profile to Data Science?
Since Data Science is huge in demand and as an experienced IT specialist it is very easy to get a job. I am still learning technology.
Python/Tableau/R/Applied Data Science are also a coding language or main modules of this course.
3. 15 Rapid fire questions on the website of Middlesex University and Accommodation Hall Details?

Number of TT tables. Number of Basketball Courts. Name of Library.etc.,

I didnt knew anything about London UK.As first timer I was just hanging out in Central London watching You Tube Videos.
All the Documentation was done by AEC(abroad Education Consultants.They scheduled my tests,Medical Checkup Reports was made in Lucknow Hospital.I also met other students in HOspital going to other countries.)
BUDGET is extremely important:-

3 important countries for IT/CS courses are USA,CANADA,UK.

Other countries are also great and have very less fees.

My mother talked to the AEC and then decided that I should go to UK.UK is cheaper than USA and Canada.UK is best in Europe.UK is the best educational hub in the world.

My classes were from 1st October .

I reached on 15th Sep.GoIBibo online Booking(ETihad Airways) . My parents decided my time to leave.

How long did the admission process take? – It depends if you get your IELTS score (atleast 6.0 in all sections).

My IELSTS was in Radisson Hotel New Delhi.It is valid for 2 years.

One must atleast start preparing for IELTS exam atleast 20 days before.

A book is available on AMAZON. Please ask you consultancy for the book.

Then all the process of exam and its scorecard coming to consultancy is within a month.

Please clear it as quickly as you can. Since it is valid for 2 years.

Medical Reports In visa interview is made by hospitals.

My Time -Table was on 4 days:-

Mon - 11-1pm , 3-4:30 pm (2 classes)
Tue - 13 - 14:30 hours(1 class)
Wed - 11-13 , 3pm -5pm , 7pm - 9pm(3 classes)
Thu - 1pm - 4pm(1 class)

Your Module Leader can change your timing or days of the classes.

What is the average number of students in your class?
18 Indians and 18 others(from UK and other mostly from europe)

18 Indians Students(On the website 30 students capacity is given)but 36 were present.

Faculty-to-student ratio is :-
36 students(in class) + 18 students(in lab)

All the information or Online Zoom Meetings(especially in Corona)are in your inbox through mails.

Teaching methodology :-
Teaching quality and standards are very high.
3 faculty members were PHD
Others were highly educated certified professionals.

Yes,All Students need to practice more the software or profile you are going to apply.
Final Year Projects are asked mandatorily in Company interviews.
 

There are many campuses of Middlesex University in different countries.
Campuses:-

TA,RA and DA positions are available in the campus. (visit website jobs.ac.uk)

One should be very much interested in the subject and should get very high marks in all modules. In the end, it all depends on the interviewer.

You have to ask from the concerned teachers about the pay range.I don't know the pay range.

1. Their are many on - campus jobs (Please click on the website and ask volunteers in colleges/societies).Student modelling. Cleaning, Data registering(online and offline) in various societies. etc ,.
Hourly wages - are less in corona.
more in open / normal days(depends on your work(8-10 pounds or more per
hour)).
20 hours per week are allowed as per your NIC number or the student Permit card which you get.
But you can work more and get paid cash directly by talking to the shop owner.
Students work on off - days (Sat -Sundays) in part-time job mostly.
But you can work from Mon-Friday as per your time schedule.
Please talk where you get part time job.
Limited number of jobs are available inside campus.
You have to apply before time because vacancies are filled very fast.

I have worked as a waiter in Masala Indian Canteen Veg Cuisine near Wembley.
All Indian food as well as non-veg.
Owner was from Italy.3 cooks(one from Pakistan and 2 from Sri Lanka)
One lady and 2 other waiters(one who did Marketing Course from Middlesex University) working in shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Provided excellent customer service and food service in a fast-paced restaurant ensuring enjoyable and happy time for all customers.
• Interacted with customers face-to-face. To take orders of food and arranging Birthday Parties inside the restaurant. Printing bills after taking orders for customers.
• Managed electronic transactions in a friendly and helpful manner through machines by taking the customers credit cards.
• Picking the food orders from the cook , cleaning plates(all other utensils) and serving it to the customer.
Cleaning tables,chairs and floor in the restaurant.
Timing(12-3:30pm) & (6-11 pm) (without pandemic /corona)
Salary in (8-10 pounds per hour without pandemic /corona)

2. Food Delivery
A normal activa/scooty costs around (700 - 800 pounds). The location of your activa or walking
person mobile is tracked through google maps installed in your and Restaurants device or system. The food is collected and then delivered to the customers location.
Their is a particular kms of distance or steps a deliverer can travel within the range of the restaurant.
An active deliverer of food earns 12-15 pounds for an hour. It is the highest paid part time job.
3. One can work pizza shops, KFC, Mc Donalds , Subway , etc ., or shopping malls shops. Many cleaning or care taking jobs are available online or other small shops have multiple part time jobs.
4.Part time crew member

Interacting with customers, providing good service. Working on till, in kitchen etc.
5. Food Services Advisor
Working in the cafe, crew member, weekend work, interacting with customers, providing
service, making food/drinks and serving.

Please check your friends profile having part-time jobs in their experience
It depends on student whether he wants to apply and work in part time jobs.it is very easy to get and much easier to get if one is working in Indian Society(Southhall(Punjab) or WEmbley(Gujrat))area.If you know hindi it is very easy to get a part time job.You can apply online job portals ,the sequence is 12 Best UK Job Online portals 1. I got selected as a waiter because i searched that job myself in Gujrati area.I was offered many other part time jobs in gujrati area, It is easy for students to secure part-time employment while studying.All procedure is on job portals
 

 Most of them got jobs even after or in corona pandemic period.

The normal salary is 30k pounds but it is 20k-25k pounds in corona pandemic period.
LinkedIn. Their were special classes inside university in your module that how to create your public profile on LinkedIn. Interview calls Messages are their to put in your linked profile by the companies who search your profile on LinkedIn and call you for interview in their offices.

Many other online job portals are also present.

Campus Recruitment teams are present inside universities.Please contact them in your university.
major companies - So many companies(which i dont even heard of are present on linkedln).

I booked Ivy Hall through Abroad Education Consultants in Kanpur. They knew all the information of admission and Accommodation Halls.

On Middlesex University website all the accommodation details of University Accommodation Halls is given.

I paid 7385 pounds in installments from 16th Sep 2019 to 31st Aug 2020.

Facilities:-

(Kitchen, Sharing or Single Bathroom which you book, a single room , a bed with cushion, a study table (drawer) , a black moving chair , a normal table , a window or 2 windows , a cupboard (attached drawer inside it), )

Inside Kitchen :-
1. A fridge shelf rack(single one as guided by the volunteer) to keep your bread ,fruits and
daily eating stuff which one brings from the market. For many students their are one
kitchen.Space to keep bottles.
2. Gas for cooking. Many gas cooking shelves are their.
3. You can put in stoves to heat anything.

Inside Bathroom :-
-Bathroom has shower and toilets which are cleaned by staff. white tissue paper is their to clean.
Attached washing machine inside the ivy accommodation hall (paid by app)for all students.

What challenges did you encounter while finding or securing your accommodation?
-I booked it from AEC.From airport a mdx ivy hall university bus came to take us to ivy hall.
It is better if you find to stay in hindu locality or your friends/family location because it is cheaper and you will get veg food.Also part-time job quickly and lots of help.

Based on your experience, do you have any recommendations for future students seeking accommodation?

-Please search or write queries on facebook/quora...etc., which helps to communicate to indian localities and find people whom you are going to live with(especially Indians.),Through facebook/online whatsapp you can directly find rooms in locality.Numbers on fb groups where you can comment to others.Many students leave Accommodation halls in between to live with others or cheap places.

How far is your accommodation from the college campus? Where do most of the Indian students stay?

-NH4 is the highway connecting ivy hall and college.
Please google search and download apps on your mobile to find bus/train routes.
Oyster Cards are available in shops.(for bus and train).
