Coventry University Review

Gd
7.3 /10

Good for the field I have picked, not bad for computer science. The location is nice, not too crowded, but lively. Not many extracurriculars - but there is a sports centre. Teaching is okay, exams and assignments are relatively easy.

Course Curriculum :

My field does not have any research scope, but I am aware of a few students who did study abroad and I did a placement year.

Exams :

- My score - IELTS exam overall was 7.0. Higher secondary education - 90%. - Grade 10 - 70%, Grade 11, 12( Bio-Maths ) - 90% . - Requirements: CV, SoP. I also had an interview, went through the CV, and also had to show my passport and it was a video interview.

Placement :

I did a placement year - worked in a software development company for one year. Great opportunity to learn new skills and technologies.

Fees :

17,500 GBP per year. (3 year course).

Faculty :

Lectures are pretty full, around 25 - 40 students if not more depending on how big the room is. Other classes I link 15 maybe. I think it depends on the course.

Campus Life :

The library is really good for doing coursework and studying, there are a few floors and laptops and desktops ready to use. The student hub is really nice and lively. Always students there, a good place to make new friends. Most of my classes happen in the Engineering Building and I like that building. Looks really amazing. Also has a Starbucks inside.

Hostel :

The first year I stayed at private student accommodation, second and placement year stayed at a private flat with some of my friends. Both were close to the university (walking distance).
