I chose the University of Warwick as it is very prestigious and highly ranked for my course. My overall Uni experience has been a very good learning opportunity not just about academics but also about life skills.
Course Curriculum
My course curriculum is very relevant to recent times as well. I am taught concepts that formed as recently as 2021.
Faculty
1:42, The faculty at Warwick is highly approachable and friendly. They are willing to help you out with absolutely everything. Prof. Jeremy Smith is the head of the Economics department and my teacher for econometrics and he is one of the most brilliant teachers I have ever come across.
Campus Life
Campus life is really amazing and very fun. There are a multitude of societies one can join. These societies hold multiple events every day. There is not one boring moment in Warwick.
Placement
Placement is not a concept that applies to the UK for undergrad. If you wish to apply for jobs after your degree you apply for graduate programs on company portals.
Accommodation
1st year accommodation is on campus. Personal bedroom and bathroom. Shared Kitchen. The rent is £218 per week. It is an 8 people flat. The accommodation is absolutely amazing. Super clean and most of all super safe as it can only be accessed by key fobs.
