Ranjole Vamshi Krishna Review at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cardiff | Collegedunia

Ground reality of my university

I chose this university because of the culture in Wales UK with multinational people around. No racism the environment is too good. Overall experience with the university is Good.

Course Curriculum :

As I mentioned need to upgrade the Academic subjects according to AI. My course is Data science but few of the subjects were not useful for me as a Data Science student.

Exams :

- I got selected with my intermediate English marks. I didn’t write any IELTS cause above 70+ English marks were allowed to study in the UK. - SSC- 8.3; Intermediate- 79%, Bachelor of technology-66%; Cardiff metropolitan university- 70% - Requirements: Yes, I submitted the intermediate memo for my English marks. Sop, LORs, SSC memo, Intermediate memo, B.tech memo, health checkup certificate, financial documents.

Placement :

Yes, so basically there are no on-campus placements. We need to check with online job careers. The research program will be in Masters itself. Salaries will depend on what field you choose average gonna be £18,000 to £22,000 as freshers and it varies.

Fees :

So, there is a scholarship which depends on intermediate English marks. My tuition fee was £14,000 but I have got a scholarship with £4000. So, I paid only £10,000

Faculty :

There are some faculties but I remember one faculty who taught us very well. CHAMINDA is a faculty he used to teach us SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYTICS. Others were some faculty but I don’t remember the name. It's been 2 years since I have graduated.

Campus Life :

Clubs were too good in Wales, when I went to university in 2020 there was COVID-19 so all my student life went with work and learning from home but overall we visited were few times but campus life is good. Coming to extracurricular activities that was the period where we were in only homes.

Hostel :

I used to live in Cardiff city centre accommodation. There are students from various universities. who are interested in living in university accommodation for £500 to £700 per month. Which includes wifi, common kitchen, attached bathrooms and a bedroom.
