Overall experience in terms of quality of education is extremely good, course structure, staff, learning opportunities are wonderful. But from the placement perspective I can say it was not extremely good, in the economy like UK there are millions of people are trying to settle in this country whereas handful of them get the chance. To get a job with Tier 2 visa is extremely hard, I was lucky that I got one, but it is a real struggle. I advise everyone to get at least some work experience before coming here and prepare yourself to grind.
Course Curriculum :
It was actually good, I am extremely satisfied with the course syllabus. Every module I studied there is still helping me even in the professional life.
Exams :
I was required to prove my English eligibility and my Bachelor’s degree mark-sheet. To prove my English eligibility I requested my University to create a document for me that the medium of my education was English during my bachelors as a result I was not required to go for IELTS or any other exam.. Yes, SoP and 2 LoRs were required. In SoP your interest in the particular field should be justified. From your childhood till the date, you should mention about everything that you think is inclined with your interest. You should talk about your achievements, your future plans and motivation.
Placement :
It was good for our batch, almost everyone got the job after completion of the course. But students from 2023 batch struggles a lot.
Internship :
No
Fees :
26850 pounds was my annual fees and I paid it in 3 instalments.
Scholarship :
No
Faculty :
Professor Niranjan taught us Foundation of Machine Learning module. He did his PhD from Uni of Cambridge and he had an amazing and professional approach of teaching.
Campus Life :
It is close to perfect. I really liked the University gym as well. It is easy to commute to the university. You can use public transport like buses ( bus pass is also very cheap) or you can buy your own bicycle (get it from facebook marketplace, going to be very cheap)
Hostel :
We were 5 boys and we rented a house. Per person rent was 340 pounds. Bills were around 70-80 pounds and if you cook in your own house everything can be done in around 600 pounds.
