Lund University Admissions: Selection Criteria

With an acceptance rate of 34% Lund University showcases a moderately selective and competitive admission process for all the applicants. Once you have applied to a programme or course at Lund University, your application goes through several processing steps before the admission results are announced. 

First, all your documents are corss checked and evaluated by the admissions committe before handing it over to the program’s staff of the program you have applied to. The programmes use a merit ratings evaluation. This is an internal working tool during the evaluation process and the merit rating scales are unique for each programme at each university. You cannot compare a merit rating from one programme to another, or from one university to another. 

Applicants may check the status of their application by logging into the ‘universityadmissions.se’ website. No separate admission letter is sent to the applicants by the university. Applicants receive the admission notification online via their account on ‘universityadmissions.se’.If admitted, applicants must reply to the admission offer as soon as possible via the student portal in accordance to the guidelines sent by Lund University.
