My opinion of KTH Royal institute of Technology

BN
7.3 /10

The aspect of studying in 2 different technical uni in Europe was exciting and also we get a minor in Entrepreneurship which I always wanted to learn to start my own venture someday

Course Curriculum :

The courses are very good and you get a deep knowledge of user-centered design and how to create and prototype interfaces for various medium. The professors are super knowledgable in their field of expertise and have many research papers published.

Exams :

I am doing EIT Digital Master's program and there were no such test requirements requirements apart from TOEFL/IELTS. TOEFL: 107.

Placement :

Very difficult to say but EU in general is considered a good place to work. The average salaries are quiet high and if you are on of those brilliant minds, you should not have a problem.

Internship :

Yes I did a Research Intership in LIMSI laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Patrick bourdout. The stipend was minimum university compensation i.e 3 euros per hour.

Events :

EIT always have a lot or programs and hackathons going on. Moreover, their alumni network is pretty strong and there are monthly meet-ups happening to guide the up-coming batch of students. Also Research labs are top-notch and

Fees :

6000 Euros per semester. If you get a scholarship it is reduced to 3000 Euros.

Scholarship :

Yes. EIT Merit Scholarship

Faculty :

They are nice, soft spoken and when you talk with them they always respond to you as colleague and this for me is the biggest difference from my previous experience. The ratio I would say 20:1

Hostel :

Accomodation cost in europe in pretty high. On an average I would say somewhere around 500-650 Euros per month for a individual studio. However some prefer to share apartments and this is slightly cheaper.
