Remarks :
Our college teaching quality is excellent. But I think college can increase their campus. Because we have no big play ground. When college game competition occure then we go to an another field which is not our college property.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is mainly based on the Computer. There are five main subjects and two lab-based subjects in our course. The course duration is 3 years. This course divided into 6 semesters. After 6 months, the semester exam is taken. This is a professional course. This course curriculum absolutely makes me more professional. Smartness and good communication skills is the key to success in this course.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good but not excellent. TCS is the main recruiter in our college. Almost 70-80% students get placement.
College Events :
Many events are celebrated by students and teachers in our college. A big cultural function is arranged by our college in the month of December. We students also celebrate Teacher's day, Republic day, Independence Day, Netaji's Birthday, Swami Vivekananda's Birthday, etc. Many games like Cricket, Football, Kabadi, Chess, Badminton, Long Tennis are played by us. College also arrange competition for the students to enjoy the game.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Total fees is 92000 for this course including admission fees which is 8000. The bus sevice is also available. Which cost is extra, this is 1500 per semester(total 6 semister). My first-year fees was taken when I took admission that is 22000(admisson fees- 8000 and First semester fees- 14000).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes. I get a scholarship for this course which was given me on the basis of my Higher secondary marks. The scholarship name is 'Chief Minister Relief Fund Scholarship'. I get 10000 ruppees per year for the scholarship. If you get 65% or above marks in Higher Secondary then you will get this Scholarship.
Campus Life :
This my first year. But till now my campus life is very good. The gender ratio is 8:2. 8 for Boys and 2 for girl. Our college arranged one educational tour every year. We very much enjoy the tour. Our lab is excellent. College arrange football, cricket and many more competition after every 3 months. Our relation's with our teachers are excellent.
Alumni/Alumna :
Our full college is covered by free wifi network. Our senior are also very good. They also help us in many problem. They also very friendly and learn us the college rules.
Admission :
After higher secondary, I decided to take admission in Biology Honours. But my uncle and also my teacher suggested taking admission in BCA because it is more professional than a Biology Honours degree. Then i took admission at BIMS. There are no entrance test. The gave me admission on the basis my Higher Secondary result. I took admission on 16 th June in the year of 2019.
Faculty :
Our faculty is excellent. One or two teacher for every subject. Our teachers are very carefull to the students. One library, computer lab with more than 80 computer have in our college. Our principal is Liza Bannerjee. I think this is the one of the best faculty in Bardhaman.
