Interior design

Remarks :

The teaching faculty is good but attendance and marking system is too difficult you can learn a lot of things in st francis institute of art and design and they don not provide internships so it is hard for someone who doesn’t have background to find jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is tough the exam is every year in which we have different subjects every year from basics to advance level in basics they teach you how to draw and make perspectives and detail study about materials

Placement Experience :

No st francis institute of art and design does not provide any internship from the college we have to find our own internship and the stipend we get is around 2 thousand to 15 thousand a month plus travel expenses

College Events :

We had freshers party on the starting then we also have annual day also they keep portfolios exhibition day where every good portfolio is displayed then we also have traditional day and lastly we also have convocation day

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is quite expensive the fees is whooping 75000 a year plus 15000 for industrial visits and other charges were 5000 it includes the tshirts and some stationary and other charges for annual day sports day

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They do not provide any loans or scholarships from st francis institute of art and design if you still want to opt for scholarships then you may have to ask for some samaj to get full paid scholarships but college does not provide it

Campus Life :

We had industrial visits every year where they used to take us at pune lonavala kutch etc where they taught us the different patterns of interiors they use and different kinds of living their life and luxury

Hostel Facilities :

No the college does not have hostel i live nearby so i used to travel daily by auto rickshaw other substitute colleges had hostels but it was quite expensive and the infrastructure was also not good.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students are not that helpful they just help you by showing their portfolios so we get a point on how to start a project and how we should improve our presentation but for jobs they are not that helpful

Admission :

We had entrance exam in which we had to write an essay and draw a still drawing and some nature drawing and intermediate exam is compulsory also they ask you to draw a one point or two point perspective drawings

Faculty :

The faculty is really good they are kind of strict but teaching is good personal focus has given to every student different faculties for different subjects the faculty changes every year and they have good knowledge in designing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fluent and I learned about fashion internal theory. More focus on theory, practicals, and textile manufacturing process. So we have 7 students learning beside me with 1 faculty so the faculty ratio is 1:7.
