Remarks :

Positive remarks is mainly there will a lot of holidays, and it is also a negative remarks. College provides best faculties and facilities for the students, and prove ideas a best library among all Govt law colleges in kerala.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BBA LLB is a five year course, but normally it takes 6 years because Govt law college Calicut is under Calicut University. Consisting of ten semester. Exam is conducted semester by semester. Exam will not be on time

Placement Experience :

after completing BBA LLB you can be lawyer/Adovacate. There is a lot of job opportunities after compiling BBA LLB, you can me judge or magistrate or you can write civil service exams. There is a post of lawyers in Indian army. Etc. For BBA LLB course there is 5 internship during five years. Each year one intership for 4 weeks. Intership can be done under a lawyer or any Govt departments or any other

College Events :

There are lot of events are conducted in MA college. Mainly Moot Court - inter Moot Court, intra Moot Court - National Moot Court competition. Freshers day, batch day, upon day, arts fest, sports fest, holy etc. A lot of programs. National and International seminars

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There is no fees for the reserved category students. Other students they need to pay 3000-4000 fees per year including exam fee. E grand and a lot of other scholarships are available for the students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a scholarship for the students who are below 20000 rs annual income. E grand scholarship. It can easily get to all students who applied for it. It will provide us the exam fees college fess hostel fees and some cashes for our travel expense

Campus Life :

Here there is no need of lab. We have a great and best library consisting of 2 floors. Sports is a one of the best event in Govt law college. With a lot of variety events. There will be tour from college in each year

Hostel Facilities :

No. Now I don't opted for the hostel, so I can't tell more about it. But anyway there is one hostel for girls and another hostel for boys with a good surrounding. I think each building is consist of 3 floors excluding ground floor

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

All are great. They give full assistance for the college and the students who r studying presently. They provide their assistance as judge in Moot Court competition and other extra curriculum activities.

Admission :

There are four Govt law colleges in Kerala-calivut give law college, Ernakulam Govt law college, Govt law college Thrissure, Govt law college Trivandrum. After writing Kerala law entrance examination which normally calls KLEE, I achieved a good rank. Then I allotted to Govt law college Calicut

Faculty :

Faculty of Govt law college Calicut are very good and outstanding personalities. They are also very famous persons. They have been passed out from various famous colleges like Bangalore law university, IIM ETC

The syllabus curicullam is actually prepared by the University of Calicut and the affiliation also goes to the University of Calicut.But I have a suggestion that just like B.tech the LLB must want a seperate university for the course. The Law School inside CUSAT that very few know

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academics are more inclined towards the litigation side. There is freedom to answer legal questions according to our interpretation, which is what the profession requires. Marks are not awarded to 'right answers', but to the quality of our interpretation of law. Teachers always teach about the latest developments of a particle section. Famous judgements as well as the latest judgements are taught. Prompt conduction of exams and publication of results. However, revaluation usually takes a couple of months.

Admission:

I got admission into the University based on my score in the Common Law admission test that is CLAT. After qualifying the CLAT I sat for the counselling in which I was allotted a seat in the university. After the grant of seat I was called to complete the procedural formalities for admission. Since it is one of the top law University in the country it was natural for me to opt for it.

Placement Experience:

The University has a dedicated placement cell for ensuring that students get placement through campus recruitment. Not everybody gets a good offer through campus recruitment but I can say that most of the students can get a decent offer. In terms of internship one has too manage things on his own.
