Remarks :

IHM PUSA, NEW DELHI is the best college in every way, from discipline, curriculum, extra curriculum activities to the placements of the Institute. Anyone who is in hospitality industry is aware about the college's status in the country.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All Hotel Management Colleges are good, but among them Institute of hotel management catering and nutrition PUSA, New Delhi is the best college in the country and was ranked 1 by various magazines. Course curriculum is too good there teachers are very supportive, healthy competition is there and overall everything is upto the mark.

Placement Experience :

Placements is 100%, most of the students get jobs where they like to have. Yes, college provide internship of 4 months, this will help to get the actual face of the industry. Stipend will vary from Rs 1000 to Rs 5000.

College Events :

We celebrate 25th December every year. Dinner will be hosted by the teachers and students for alumni and other high profile peoples. This will be the grand dinner which was hosted by the any organization.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees vary from courses to courses. For BHM, it is Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000 per semester. It is feasible for middle classes family but can be expensive for financially weeker section of the society. It also have courses of lesser duration which have less fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships will be given to SCs and STs, as per the government policies. There is no such good scholarship / Loan facilities that are provided by the college. A letter can be given to the principal if wants to deposit the fees a little delay of the dead line.

Campus Life :

For extra curriculum activities, college have volleyball and lawn tennis courts for the students. College also have gym facilities for the students to be fit and active. These facilities are one of the points to attract the students.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is quite strong there, we have combined group as PIHMAA - PUSA Institute Of Hotel Management Alumni Association and have Facebook page as well. Everyone is connected through this from all around the world.

Admission :

Through Entrance Exam, and then college is given according to the rank attained by participant. After the college is allotted, counseling will be done and then the participant have to attend the college.

Faculty :

College faculty is quite experienced. Everyone is very supportive. Will answer every query that anyone ask them. Will teach and guide the students in a positive way and will help them to achieve their courier goals.

In 2nd year we go for the industrial training for 6 months minimum and in IT also there placements are very good you can do you IT from abroad also as some of my batch mates and me also going Mauritius for our 6 months industrial training and the job placements are good too minimum 2,00,000 annual and maximum 450000 annual in starting 95% students get placements and 5% are those who want to go other hotel by there own

All you need to know about IHM Pusa

Placement Experience:

In the fifth semester the placement starts, they have a very high placement rate as all the companies comes to the college in the start considering the college is the best. Different companies like Marriott, Hyatt, Oberoi, Taj, Hilton, Lemon Tree, Eazydiner, Starbucks, Pret, etc comes for the placements. Highest package was for Growisto around 9.5LPA They have 100% placements. I am currently working as a Assistant sales manager in Eazydiner.

Hotel Management in IHM Pusa

Placement Experience:

After your fifth semester is completed hotels and company starts coming to the college for campus placement. All the top hotels and companies will come for the campus placement. So you just be calm as you are in the number 1 college in India. The highest package which went the previous year was 8.5L per annum. The average package is 3L per annum. Mostly 100% of the students get the placement so no need to worry about your job. My plans after doing this course are that I want to work as a chef and then after a few years, I want to start on my own.

In the last semester, students become eligible for campus placement. India's all 5-star hotel companies visited in our college. And no. of offers change every year. I don't know about the highest package but it will be approx 50k-70k. And average package offered is 25k. 100% students getting placements.
