Good practical educational policy which promotes the quality of students to enrich their carrer Due to droughts in madurai areas.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Syllabus was very updated and some portions need to update Field work strategy js the unique identification feature for madurai institute of social sciences. During 2years course they are offering 50%of the days for field work for students So it is helpful to learn about practical experiences in relevant field

Placement Experience :

This college offering summer and block internships while completing the 1st and 2nd year according to my experience - for my summer placement i went to flextronics india private limited, Our professors surely arranging a internship offers for students as well as placement for students

College Events :

My college has around 20 centres which is related to social welfare child welfare gandhian thoughts enterpreneurship development cell and through this centres they are conducting lot of seminars with colloboration with National institute of social defence(NISD)

Campus Life :

College has courses of bsc computer science, bba, bcom regular and bcom ca so college has only computer lab consists of lot of computers apart from that no lab was existing in madurai institute of social sciences

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel environment was very good But i exactly dont know about the food system and facilities of miss hostel Because i am a dayscholar. Drawback of hostel is no one warden is there for protection for students

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Obviously. College management was interconnected with all department alumnus for example Hr department has lot of alumnis for summer placement, block placement and for placement also miss offering job opportunity and assurance with through the help of alumnis

Admission :

Easily get a admission inself finance mode otherwise if you want to join a aided category you have to attend 1. Entrance examination 2.general knowledge test 3. As well as group discussion After college management will publish 1st and 2nd list of selected students list for aided category. I mentioned only for MSW admission strategy

Faculty :

Most of the faculties are well experienced and expertised in particular subject as well as field All the faculties are completed phd in their subject Viz- for hr field our 3professors completed phd in labour law and administration

My Experience

Placement Experience:

For post graduation degree students are eligible to attend placements after their second semester and in the undergraduate degree students are eligible to attend placements in their final year. They also have placements training class at their final year to get some knowledge about placements and how to perform in placements. There are lots of companies giving placements to our students and the most important company is Sutherlan and our seniors got placed there for 3,00000 lpa. Around 60% of students are getting placed through placements in our college and my plan after completing my degree is to get place in a great position in a company or to clear NET exam.

THE AMERICAN COLLEGE, "THE HEAVEN"

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose English literature as my major because I love literature. Yeah, I find it more interesting than other courses. On coming to faculty, one would manage up to 30 or 40 students and if more than that causes a distance between them. Most commonly 40 students are there in a class. The faculties have the minimum qualification of masters and passed in net exams. Oh, how can I describe their teaching which was not like teaching rather it's like active participation of students where you can never escape from that participation which brings interest and fluency of students. Also, mostly communication between students and teachers during class hours enhances students knowledge immensely. Coming to the terms of exams, it's really easy going when one studied everything through teacher's teaching. The little amount of effort and greater amount of participation during class hours was the secret of passing exams easily. I would say, those passing exams is not a difficult task.

LOYOLA COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Remarks:

Only positive not negative comments. Placements : About 50% of the students got an internship in companies like Deloitte and Goldman Sachs. Students are also benefitted very well for giving a source of income which helped to support their own academic fees of the course. Infrastructure : The college provides various facilities for the students. It has a free Wi-Fi connection in the hostel as well as in college.
