Naemd review for event management

Remarks :

The staff is poor the administration lacks in understating students, good number of opportunities to establish connection and get trained in event industry but have to put your own effort as well. rest overall everything is good

Course Curriculum Overview :

Its highly practical based which is good as events need practical training not pushing the student to just keep study as main goal covers wide aspects on events and the industry thus the curriculum is good.

Internships Opportunities :

yes the college does provide internship to its students and is also helpful in giving them feedback of the company. So you will get internship maybe work of not your own choice but plenty of opportunities.

Placement Experience :

Placement is not up to the mark as students are not paid well and mostly students get connected while working in training and internship so through personal contacts students grab a job themselves hence the placement need improvement.

College Events :

josh is the in house fest of the college it is organised b y the students and is a big college fest as you train to work in event industry nit many events are done from the college as you would mostly always be on event training anyways.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

fee structure is very feasible not much expensive and you can deposit the fee in installments through check of NEFT so fee is reasonable and not much of an issue in that aspect. So its not a big burden compared some other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Im not aware of any scholarship or loan facility from college the re was none when i was studying so in that area no facility is there under my knowledge and also no scholarship but there can a fee concession for early joiners.

Campus Life :

None of that sort no sports no labs nothing as there is no space in a City like mumbai but you are on event training mostly so you need not worry for that and also no lab as the course does not require one.

Hostel Facilities :

There is no hostel facility in Mumbai so you have to find your own accommodation. which is a good aspect as you get to explore the city better but as of now there is no accommodation for boys hostel for girls is available but is limited.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college itself does not have a good alumni network but the students being in the event industry will always be there and you will be connected to them personally, so in that case its just personal connection rather than through college.

Exam Structure :

not much complicated its semester system and you can reapper if you are not passing in a subject Its designed as per Bharatihar university which comes under UGC norms. just study give the paper and internal marks depends on your events and training.

Admission :

nothing much just fee and profile based selection is done no need for any entrance just a few formalities and meeting with the counselors and thus anyone who passes 12th grade can take admission in the college.

Faculty :

The faculty is bit on the bad side but as you don't need to be much focused on academics its fair enough but the staff in the college is below average mostly inexperienced immature staff in the administration which Handles students no importance of time of others.

Placement is given by the placement cells they are really good they provide placement in every odd year 1st and 2nd year and in the final year you can opt for main placements. You can get a nice placement if you are capable and at minimum, you need 7cgpa and 75% attendance for the placements process.
