Remarks :
I feel this is one of the best b-schools in Hyderabad. The teaching method, faculty, learning environment, resources are the factors that set this institute apart from others.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is a blend of theoretical and practical learning. However WOXSEN focuses more on grooming the students for challenging business environments and enable them to tackle any adversities that come their way. But the school makes sure that the students don't miss out on any fun activities.
Placement Experience :
I didn't apply for any job during Woxsen's in-campus placement drive. But few of my friends got jobs in reputed companies like Decathlon and HDFC.
College Events :
When there are any festivals and events celebrated in Woxsen, they sure are grand. These are the times when the students and faculty members have some fun and showcase their talents. The freshers’ party, farewell party, events held by various college societies are the most fun parts.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Considering the other b-schools, Woxsen's fee is considerably nominal. The fee includes tuition fee, lodging, accommodation and food. Tuition fee, alumni fee and convocation fee can be paid during the enrollment. And the rest can be paid in installment basis.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got a scholarship from Woxsen which is purely meritorious and was based on the statement of purpose essay that I initially submitted during admission.
Campus Life :
In addition to the college fests and all, we also have co-curricular activities in between. We used to have unofficial dorm parties among the students in the hostel. So, Woxsen is not always lectures and research. We also have our own slice of fun as well.
Alumni/Alumna :
My connection with seniors and alumni has definitely been helpful when I was initially looking for a job.
Admission :
The admission process is nothing tricky. You have to sit for the common admission test of WOXSEN. Along with the score achieved, they will also consider your academic record, admission essay and interview. During my time, I showed my GMAT score (which is also acceptable).
Faculty :
I wonder if any other b-school has such driven faculty members as Woxsen has. During my 12 months of stay in Woxsen, one thing I have clearly noticed is the determination of the teachers in making sure that the students have a thorough understanding of everything.
