Course Curriculum Overview :

In my opinion, the course curriculum of BTech provided at Birbhum Institute Of Engineering And Technology is good. Department Faculty is much good and infrastructure is also good. The location is also good.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are Good. Here many software companies are hiring and some core companies also come. But actually small companies are basically coming here for the placement.

College Events :

Various Indoor Games as well as Outdoor Games, Annual Gala Sports Event (ATHCRAZE). Apart from that social & Cultural Festivals like CORONA, SRISTICHARA, Intra & inter-college debates, quizzes, Tech Fest – Prayog, Electronic Model & Software Development program: Project Electronica.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure divided into two categories in which one is with the hostel fee and without a hostel fee. With the hostel, the fee will be around 1 lacs 16 thousand for the first year and without a hostel, it will be around 98K for the first year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Actually, they only offer you half fee and full fee and it's based on your entrance exam rank and 10th class marks. Otherwise, they do not provide any other scholarships.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is Good. 2 boys hostel and one girl's hostel are present. mess food is good. 24 hours wifi connection. Hostel fee will be taken as 7200 rupees per semester along with it there will be a charge for food of 12K per semester.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is such that there will be 4 years means a total of 8 semesters, Odd semester exam held on June and even semester exam held on December month.

Admission :

Actually I got admission at their after diploma engineering. I was score 2314 general rank at JELET Exam. And then college authority offered me for half tuition fee that's good.

Faculty :

In Birbhum Institute Of Engineering and Technology faculty is much good. Department teachers are good. The faculty members are well qualified and well behaved with the students.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
