Remarks :

Positive- Huge education facility equipped in one structure with positive attitude. Negative- Placement cell should provide more openings if thry are failing then they should provide courses only for those they can provide job. because in open market this is very difficult to get a good job.

Course Curriculum Overview :

That all curriculum was new for me. I never seen that type of amtosphere. Subjects were well categorised in semester wise system. There was 5 exams/sem with 1 elective subject (which was compulsory) and marks calculation were on the basis of CGP.

College Events :

1. Youth festival- It is celebrated between June- july every year. 2. Singers Night- every year in between Nov-Dec, there is singers night for 3 days. Every day new singer. 3. Freshers Party- To motivate and to male friendly environment freshers party arranged by seniors. 4. Farewell Party- To wish best wishes and congratulations, juniors arrange this party. 5. Flowers festival- This festival also celebrated and also some scripts performed.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is some what expensive. 1st sem- 96000rs with 40000rs security fee which was refundable after full course. 2nd- 28000rs 4th- 44000rs 5th- 28000rs 6th- 44000rs 7th- 28000rs 8th- 44000rs also 1000 /Sem extra for examination fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, scholarship was available for the poors and caste wise. there was 25% to 100% discount on tution fee for these Students. That I think is very good. Loan facility was not available. One of my friend availabled scholarship and get 50% throughout course.

Campus Life :

Our college was under Punjabi University, Patiala that have very good name in Sports and other activities. Our college participate in cultural activities and sports activities. There was NCC camp was also held. Our labs were well equipped and have all the instruments and machines which were required to cover the course material.

Hostel Facilities :

No I was day scholar, my college was 50 kms from my home, so I did daily up-down. but hostel was not easily available. I have seen my friends. But who got hostel that was very cheap like 10000rs/sem with food cost extra.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

All environment was very friendly all students helped each and every one in study as well as other personal needs. Seniors were also helpful they guide through out the course and also helful for giving books and notes.

Admission :

I got admission on the basis of merit. In my marks were 74.21% and there were total 21 seats and when coming to my marks there were only 2 seats left. I was very nervous with every filling seat but at last I got selected.

Faculty :

Our faculty was very high educated. All of them have soundfull knowledge of the subjects they were teaching. Also they take house tests. Some of them were Phd. and others were doing simultaneously with the teaching.

Know our HCU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Courses are very interesting and very helpful for our future endeavours. The Courses like gender studies, environmental science, fundamentals of music, dance studies, English literature and many other course give wider perspective of the electives and help to develop a multidisciplinary thinking capacity for students and develop a good idea of knowledge on all spheres. The social science students can also take elective from other science departments like maths, physics, geology, biology and etc... The NEP is implemented fully in the campus and it helps the students in overall development. The timing of classes for undergraduate students starts at 8am and ends at 6pm . But it differs to the course selection and a student maximum have 5 hours of class a day.

Fabulous and super campus for students

Placement Experience:

From 2nd semester is for Master's students and 4th semester for Bachelor's students .many companies are linked with the college like Hetero, GVK laboratories, cognizant, tech Mahindra is some of the companies that offer jobs for students. The lowest and highest package is 400000lpa and 1600000lpa respectively. 86% of students got placements.

Placement drives in our college will start from the final yr and students are eligible to attend the drives from the 7th sem.
