Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is according to Gujarat University. The students can choose specialisation in their own subject. The course is regular. The internal exam is conducted by college itself and the external exam is conducted by Gujarat University.
Placement Experience :
This is the only college of B.Com which provides direct placements. Many companies like TCS, Bank of Baroda, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Kotak Mahindra, etc. recruit the students through direct interview. If you passed the interview, jobs would be in your hand by the completion of B.Com. The condition for recruitment is that there should not be any AT/KT in any semester.No, internship is provided by college.
College Events :
HLCC MUN: There are lots of events and competitions. The most famous is HLCC MUN. In it students are allotted different countries and different topics are given. And students have to represent the given countries and discuss the topic. *CALYPSO: The college cult.fest Garba competition Annual function. All festival celebration. Dance competition.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The college is affiliated to Gujarat University and therefore it is in grant in aid. So fees are very less. The fee per semester for Bcom are 1200 for boys and 600 for girls. Hence the fees are charged at token rate.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Many scholarship are available to the bright and needy students. Those who are bright in study get MG Scholarship Whereas for the poor students PRINCIPAL AID FUND is there. Books are provided to economically backwards students.
Campus Life :
The college provides tremendous infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi facilities are available. There is a computers lab. The library is enriched with more than 10000 books. A big playground is available. There are canteen facilities. The cleanliness of college is just awesome.

There is alumni association in college. Many clubs are run by the alumni association. Waterroom and HLCC Pavilion are built by HLCC ALMUNI ASSOCIATION.The senior are the most helpful.No ragging or harrasing is done in college
Admission :
Admission is on basis of merit list.No donation is accepted. For getting admission easily in the college you need more than 80%. All the reservation according to government norms are applicable.The students need to fill the form online once he/she has taken PIN form Gujarat University as the college is affiliated with it.
Faculty :
The professors here are highly qualified and enriched with knowledge. They are kind as well as strict. They are always ready to help and guide the students, but they all hate indiscipline. In each subject, there are minimum 3 teachers available. The students of HLCC get tremendous exposure.
