Remarks :
The college is along the highway and the place is very good and beautiful decorated with flowers and the nature around is very clean. The college has a biogas plant inside and a waste management plant as well. As it is on a hill the view is great too. The only negative point is that the faculty is low in numbers so it takes time to get official college stuff done.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course could have better subjects more related to computers. Some optional subjects like environmental studies are very basic theoritical subjects and should be replaced with more practical subjects on computers. The exams are done in 3 parts, 2 of which are mid sessional and the 3rd one is final. There should have been only 1 mid sessional and then the finals after the end of the session. The 2nd mid sessional is out of time and useless.
Placement Experience :
There are direct placements and interviews held in my college but as I am a fresher I cannot go into much more details. We do have training camps held every so often for all courses in the college itself.
College Events :
I am a fresher so the only event I was part of so far was the freshers party. There is an annual college fest soon. Also annual sports meet is held during the spring season in which the students an participate in cricket, football, pool, badminton, table tennis, athletics etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees for my course is very feasible and cheaper than most other colleges. The only thing I have to pay is the amount of around 25000 which can be discounted with early payment of if I can get a scholarship.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My college offers scholarships for students who get a cgpa of 9 or higher with increasing discount as your cgps gets higher. If you are looking for a cheaper fee and you are a good student you can get a very high rebate with your scholarship.
Campus Life :
There are multiple labs in the different departments of the college. In our B. Tech department there is 1 big lab divided into 4 sections and another smaller lab on the top floor. they are equipped with good hardware and have multi boot with Linux and windows systems.
Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors are very excited about the freshers each year and are ready to help with anything as they already know the way around the college and have a good understanding with the teachers. They often visit our classroom to have fun and play with us.
Faculty :
The faculty of my college is great and understanding. They are good teachers and knowledgeable on their respective subjects. They are also very down to earth and support the students in making good life decisions and act as good guides.
