Course Curriculum Overview :

My field is masters of science in Organic Chemistry.So coming to aspects that influenced me was the vast amount of knowledge this subject contain and help us to learn new things Computerized system will mostly help improveing the course

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 45000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Ive paid 45000 tuition fees for a year and other charges like exam fees lab fees which is about 2500/- per semester which is not included in the tuition fees There are no scholarships or fee reimbursement program when we are pursuing

Campus Life :

We used to have Seminars on different trending global issues ASTRA an annual management event conducted every year in our college Very gigantic library with every volume of book available Our college offers every sport mostly Cricket, football, basketball, badminton etc

Admission :

Ive directly applied to Gayatri Vidya parishad through APPGCET coz this college helps in making us learn techniques that most colleges donot do . Admission process is based on the councelling through APPGCET Andbthe eligibility is 40% aggregate in graduation level

Faculty :

Faculty members are highly qualified with doctorates and the lab assistants are very skilled Coming to the examinations we have two mid term examinations every semester and mostly don't fail to clear the examinations

Night Life :

We have a gym which is cozy but with every available instrument We have two cafeterias in our college in which one is for Daily Food and other for snacks breaks Campus timings are strict from 9 am in the morning to 5 pm

SRM University, AP - Diving into Research

Placement Experience:

placements are offered here but it is very less in number and the package offered is also vey low. but this is quite normal for any biotechnology students in india as we are still in an initial stages of biological research activities. so some of the options we look for are: 1. Phd abroad 2. Phd in India 3. CSIR NET (jrf/srf) 4. Jobs in pharmaceutical industries. 5. Jobs in research laboratories.

From 4th semester students become eligible for campus placement. As I am a fresher i didn't have an idea on which companies had visited. There is 50% chance to get a placement . After completing my degree I have a plan to get a job by writing qualifying test .

Worth for money

Placement Experience:

For masters, students are eligible from the 4th sem for placements. A large no of companies will visit and a maximum number of students are placed every year. The highest package is 10lakh per annum. And the average package is 3 lakh per annum. Above 90 per cent of students are placed every year. I am trying to get placed in a good company

Temple of knowledge

Remarks:

There were many positives in the Andhra University. University provides free transportation for the hostlers, free gym and Indore stadium, zero cost medical support, it also provides the banking support in the campus. It also provides free internet for the students upto 2gb limit and library of the university is the biggest advantage for the students and there was a reading room for students.

Entrance Preview:

I have taken AUCET exam in the year 2008 and secured 1st rank. This university is one of the best state universities in undivided Andhra Pradesh state at that time. For Geology this university is best in the state.

Admission:

After common entrance examination test, ranks will be declared then candidates will be called for counselling. In general counselling will be done in three phases and seats will be allotted according to the category. Most of the seats are general seats for all categories and few seats are in self finance mode.
