Absolutely good infrastructure and placements. Dissatisfied faculty and educational resources.

Dislikes

  • Faculty teaching and boring classes, not covered out of syllabus topics.
  • Students are not skillful as industry requirement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this field to use AI in space technology. Curriculum was below average teaching about old methods instad of what industry requires. Advance topics and trending courses should be included which helps students rather than traditional methods.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college is a NAAC and NBA accredited grade 'A'. AICTE of our college help in internships to get stipend. They make calls and give our resumes to companies. It is paid intership.Projects and clarification everything is looed after by them.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good in our college. From 6th semester students are eligible to placements if one has skills. Approximately 300 plus companies visit the college. But offers were less.Highest package from our college was 58 LPA from amazon and 44 LPA from amazon.50 to 60 % of students get palced in our college. If they are not placed they pursure higher education in abroad or in india. Some quit this and pursue their dream jobs. Some learn skills to improve themselves.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I Chaithra of CMR Technical Campus, love to share the fee structure of our college. As I'm a OBC student in AIML course it is 115000 INR but as i get a scholarship of 35000 INR from telangana state I'll pay 80000 INR. Every year 1800 INR is paid as exam fee. Along with that for transportaion we need to pay 45000 INR. Transportation fee varies based on the distance. But starts minimum from 40000 INR. people with No reservation has to pay entire fee i.e. 115000 INR. Some of my friends from our college pay 150000 INR. Lab and Library fee is 25000 INR.SC and ST can pay 45000 INR.Scholarships are given by both central and state government we need to apply them and renewal they every year until completion of your B.Tech programme

Campus Life :

In our college we have a Annual Day every year particularly in april month. Events like traditional day is held in january. The books are good but it woyld be better if they arrange some self-help books for students in library. The journals are good in the campus. The teaching is done through the presentation using projector. Sports were too poor and never encouraged apart from academics in our college.Social groups like NSS,and technical clubs ike codeoholics, AI club, NCC and cultural clubs like Akriti club.

Admission :

I choose this college because of the course.I am very curios and passionate about the course rather than top college. So I choose it to pursue loving lifestyle rather than a not interested course in a top college for higher package or placements. The eligibilty is to write EAMCET exam of Telangana state. Based on the rank you can get in to college. The cutoffs play a important role so I recoomend to students to score in top 20000 rank in EAMCET to secure a seat in this college. But if you are from SC or ST I can as sure you that you can get seat even if u have above rank like 80000 r 100000.

Faculty :

Faculty was a deep concern in our college. They never teach and make us excite about studies.Faculty of some subjects are too bad and doesn't teach and dont care if the students are listening are not.I like shareef sir who teaches DAA and PPS along with Data Structures, he explains clearly understands students and make it easy for us to understand. He is very calm, kind soul. I don't like many of the faculty who doesn't teach properly. Exams are often easy, we find it diificult when they don't teach properly.Above 60 to 70 percent fails in exam in a class it is due no proper care of them and understanding them about their mental health.

Interview Experience :

The eligibility is done by college entrance examination. No questions and pattern required. There is no other process to joun college. I just practiced hard in my intermediate to crack this college. Anyone who acquired the rank and score in the exam can get admission in to this college.

Other Applied Colleges

Institute of Aeronautical Engineering - [IARE] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

I want to study AIML so, I was not interested in that course.

The curriculum prepares real world students and applications for futher academic pursuits. They are perfect at that course curriculum teaching methods. the frequency and timings of exams along with perspective on difficult level is high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosen computer science and engineering as my course. I enjoy coding and learning. This course gives the challenge to apply our ideas on real world applications. I choose skills over the marks because scoring only marks doesn't give a good placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content provides sufficient exposure to required knowledge in the field though it is advisable to seek additional resources outside the course for better understanding. Coursework is not too hard and can be managed by the student.

Placement Experience:

Here, students can try for internships in the 3rd year. Some students who want to pursue higher education like MTech or MBA or PhD don't go for placements and internships. The placement rounds happen in the 4th year where many companies come to the campus, exams and interviews are conducted to shortlist students. For example, in my branch of civil engineering, the placement percentage last year was 50%, with the average package being around 14 lacs. Many companies come to the campus and the highest package last year was 90 lacs which was for a quant role. There are mostly companies coming for SDE and AI/ML roles. The number of companies coming for Consulting or product management roles is quite declining over the years. My plan is to try for placement in some Tech company, and work for some years then pursue a MBA.
