  • There are a lot of rules regarding the dress code. Honestly, my university feels like a school.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of our college is very similar to the JNTU curriculum. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect the latest trends and technologies in various fields that are now in demand. Many lab courses like EEES ( essential English for employability skills), ECS (English Communication skills), ELS ( English language skills ), and SSL (soft skills lab ) mainly focus on communication skills in English. Other courses that are available are, DT (design thinking), ES ( entrepreneurship skills) and etc.

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for campus placement from sixth semester that is third year. The companies that have visited our college or Accenture, TCS, Goldman Sachs, Atlassian, Amazon, Microsoft, L'Oreal etc. The average package is around 5 lacs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum and the highest till date would be 38 lacs per annum (from Amazon). My plans after getting the degree is to continue my studies further in U.S.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I (a management student) am currently in my 3rd year of B.tech and I am paying Rs. 2,50,000/- per year. The breakdown of my college fee structure is as follows 1st year Tuition fee: 2,50,000 Bus fee (12 km) : 22,000 Placement and training fee: 10,000 Admission fee: 5,500 Book bank: 5,000 The tuition fee keeps increasing every year for management students. It's the same for eamcet student (i.e., Rs.1,25,000).

Campus Life :

There are three main events that are conducted in our campus: 1. Synergy (Annual day) is usually in the month of March. 2. Daksha (technical fest) is of 2 days that is also conducted in the month of March. 3. Sports day Is of one week that is also conducted in the month of March. There are plenty of books available in the library that can be borrowed by every student. After registering for the library, the students are given four library cards with which they can borrow library books four at a time. There is also a book bank available for which you need to pay 5000 at the start of your course. There are plenty of college clubs available for the students to join and including technical and non-technical.

Admission :

To be honest this was the first college I applied to and got the admission. I did not get a very good rank in EAMCET after my intermediate and so I didn't have much of a choice to choose the college which I liked. The exams accepted for our course is EAMCET and AUCET.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student relationship can be rated 3 stars out of 5. There are faculty who are approachable and available for extra help if you need it. The teaching style varies from boring lectures to interactive discussions which impact the student engagement. Many faculty member are also active researchers. The English language skills of the faculty is questionable. There is always feedback at the end of the semester. You are given a choice to change the faculty members if you want. The course curriculum provided in our college is very similar to the JNTU curriculum. The exams are something to worry about if you have a bad relationship with the respective faculty member of that particular subject. Other than that, you need not worry about the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is rated as average . Because the relevance and comprehensiveness is not upto the level of students midset (like most of them). the curriculum and the speed of covering syllabus very fast which is not understandable for most of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosen computer science and engineering as my course. I enjoy coding and learning. This course gives the challenge to apply our ideas on real world applications. I choose skills over the marks because scoring only marks doesn't give a good placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content provides sufficient exposure to required knowledge in the field though it is advisable to seek additional resources outside the course for better understanding. Coursework is not too hard and can be managed by the student.

Placement Experience:

Here, students can try for internships in the 3rd year. Some students who want to pursue higher education like MTech or MBA or PhD don't go for placements and internships. The placement rounds happen in the 4th year where many companies come to the campus, exams and interviews are conducted to shortlist students. For example, in my branch of civil engineering, the placement percentage last year was 50%, with the average package being around 14 lacs. Many companies come to the campus and the highest package last year was 90 lacs which was for a quant role. There are mostly companies coming for SDE and AI/ML roles. The number of companies coming for Consulting or product management roles is quite declining over the years. My plan is to try for placement in some Tech company, and work for some years then pursue a MBA.
