  • Academic is good but there is a lot burden on students because you won’t get much time spending on anything due to academics
  • There are many tech events that takes place I like that but there are no events like entertainment purpose only one event that happens every year once

Course Curriculum Overview :

Vasavi College offers elective programs were other branches students can also be explore other branches for every semester there is an open elective and they provide us internship programs and industrial visits every semester or atleast once a year and help us guiding us in any field we want to pursue either higher studies, study abroad or get a job or crack CAT exam and do MBA in iims or other well established top 15 b schools, our faculty use smart boards to teach us we have now then guest lecturers by iit professors and DRDO scientists and well established business owners of entrepreneurship we have many clubs were students can explore and build their networks and may also build their skills for their career

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Accenture, service now, Honda and few other companies good companies too but u can't expect much for mechanical engineering students because in core there are less placements for their branch and not only in our college but in entire state it's less but our education is good in mechanical engineering and other branches and we do many projects and college encourages and gives support as well

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements and college will support you in any way you want to go after graduating either job or higher studies there is a placement cell in our college who constantly monitor every student and try to give best they can

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Generally the tuition fee is same for everyone that is 1,40,000 and there is a special fee of upto 9000 that includes university fee, lab fee and all then there are scholarships too provided by Government of Telangana for students passing exams like emcet and ecet for lateral entry full scholarships for scheduled castes and also library fee is also paid by government only for them and the rest get 60,000 to 1,20,000 depending on their rank only they will be selected in admission and there are no management seats but category b seats if there are left over seats and it's decided seeing the students grades and percentage (jee is also considered)and the fee structure is same for everyone but according to my knowledge there is no scholarship for category b students.

Campus Life :

Overall experience is good and there is a seperate block and building for library with full of books were you can explore your subject books of different authors and also journals like ASME and you also have a digital library there are no much books in there but you can read journals published from there and there is a event called euphoria every year held once and one thing I can say in academics it's a best college but if you are a sport's enthusiast you can't expect much here.

Admission :

I applied for Chandigarh university and even got 40% scholarship but it was too far from my native place and I applied Christ university Bangalore even got admission their passed their two entrance exams but my parents were not willing to send for some reasons and yeah the admission process I already mentioned in the earlier in the fee structure

Faculty :

There are good faculty in our college considered or compared to other colleges vasavi has the best faculty who are expert in their field who provide you quality education, its an autonomous college affiliated to Osmania University and the exam system is good every semester has two mids and one semester end and the exam is conducted fair and very strictly and the curriculum changes every year a little bit adding things and removing giving us the updated information now and then

Other Applied Colleges

Chandigarh University - [CU] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Mechanical Engineering)

It was too far from my native place

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because aiml may become the most important and more attentive.and it may be paid salary is 20lakhs for annual. The curriculum prepares real world students and applications for futher academic pursuits. They are perfect at that course curriculum teaching methods. the frequency and timings of exams along with perspective on difficult level is high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is rated as average . Because the relevance and comprehensiveness is not upto the level of students midset (like most of them). the curriculum and the speed of covering syllabus very fast which is not understandable for most of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosen computer science and engineering as my course. I enjoy coding and learning. This course gives the challenge to apply our ideas on real world applications. I choose skills over the marks because scoring only marks doesn't give a good placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content provides sufficient exposure to required knowledge in the field though it is advisable to seek additional resources outside the course for better understanding. Coursework is not too hard and can be managed by the student.

Placement Experience:

Here, students can try for internships in the 3rd year. Some students who want to pursue higher education like MTech or MBA or PhD don't go for placements and internships. The placement rounds happen in the 4th year where many companies come to the campus, exams and interviews are conducted to shortlist students. For example, in my branch of civil engineering, the placement percentage last year was 50%, with the average package being around 14 lacs. Many companies come to the campus and the highest package last year was 90 lacs which was for a quant role. There are mostly companies coming for SDE and AI/ML roles. The number of companies coming for Consulting or product management roles is quite declining over the years. My plan is to try for placement in some Tech company, and work for some years then pursue a MBA.
