Remarks :

The college is best for pharmacy course and no compromise on its standards

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Pharm.D course is the non-semester system. The exam will be conducted as per the scheme of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. College is having its own examination center. the college is tie-up with Narayana Hrudayalaya multispecialty hospital Bangalore

Placement Experience :

Placement is there for the Pharm.D course. college is arranging placement for all the students. I am a first batch student of the college and placed in Bioclinica (clinical trial company), Mysore, pharmacovigilance department.

College Events :

The college is strict for studies only not for cultural activities. every 3 months there will be some events. Onam celebration was my favorite one. enjoyed myself a lot with my friends. The college is also famous for the food fest event conducted every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

From the second year onwards I paid Rs 1,50000 per year. now I don't know the exact fee structure. The fee structure is available on the college website and it is free to access everyone.there are many PG are available nearby the college area with rent of Rs 3000 onwards.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

college helps to get the education loan and scholarship. many students are studying the course by education loan only

Campus Life :

The campus is full greenish, free wifi, the playground is available for all the sports. every year pharmacist day will be celebrated and events like debates, pharma quiz will be conducted. overall the college is famous for extracurricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college is having an alumni network to pass out students. ours is the first batch so we don't have alumni for pharm.D. but for B.pharm and M.Pharm alumni network is there

Admission :

TJCP was Referred by my uncle who is working in the Pharmaceutical industry. The admission process is very simple. college is having admission cell, they will guide for admission and further process. Usually, admission starts in the month of May and ends in august

Faculty :

Excellent and well-qualified faculties, but a little bit strict. the faculties are focusing on discipline also. students should attend the classes on time otherwise they have to stand outside class till the class gets over. students will be assigned with different projects under the class teacher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum had a greater focus on the clinical part and more of patient care and patient safety which made me choose this course . This course technically includes pharmacotherapy and pharmacology mainly which is the most wanted subjects for preparing a drug regimen for a particular patient. There are areas of improvement in providing students more practical based learning, patient bed side teachings and teaching more drug dosings and algorithms rather than some other not-so-useful subjects like Pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum included Therapeutics and Pharmacology which largely drew me into specifically selecting this course. The inclusion of therapeutics makes one ready to be well versed in the clinical field. Although there is a good scope of improvement in remodulating the course structure for PharmD mainly incorporating a thorough and extensive teaching on Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics in all the years and eliminating few unrelevant subjects like Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical formulation, Pharmaceutics as these subjects would be of a greater use in courses like Bpharm and Mpharm rather than PharmD.
