The curriculum is up to date You get theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge by seeing the patients admitted in the hospital This course prepares you for the real world where you can deal with patients of different illnesses as you observe and learn from the patients admitted in hospital

There is a compulsory internship that is included in the MBBS curriculum itself. For 4.5 years you study different aspects of medicine and after completing the study you have to work as an intern in the hospital of the medical college in which you get see, handle, manage and treat various types of patients. You are posted in different departments of the medical college such as medicine, surgery, trauma, obgy, ortho where you get first hand experience in managing and treating the patients admitted under the various disciplines of medicine.

The Government Medical education is quite affordable If you belong to SC ST OBC you have to pay a nominal fees of upto 10k to 20k including hostel If you belong to Open category then you have to pay the full fees for the year which is approximately 1lakh to 1.5 lakh The fees compared to private medical colleges is very low

Admission :

I applied for admission in MBBS in the colleges that are near to my house. Out of which Gmc Nagpur was my first choice. As it is the best institute in my area that is vidarbha region of Maharashtra. As I got 590 marks in Neet 2019 and a rank of 10000 belonging to the obc category I got my first choice college Gmc Nagpur in the first round of counseling itself . Admission in the college is through the NEET UG exam And the cutoff marks for open category in first round of counseling is 640+ marks in NEET UG exam

The faculty to students ratio is excellent. There are enough faculty in every department of the college. The medicine department faculty is excellent. The course of MBBS is so vast , so we have to study almost daily and there is exams on monthly basis (practical') known as ward leaving exams , also the exams is type of difficult even after studying so yes u have to work hard , kind of sleepless nights during exam . And overall in a year 4 theory exams are there - 1st internals, 2nd internals, pre proffs and proffs . They can reduce the frequency of exams

Placement Experience:

This college conducts free camps for the students. This is very beneficial to the students. MBBS doesn't offer placement. But college provides internships in the college premises. During the internship, we have great exposure to the patients. Students provided a good stipend during their internship

Admission:

I had been looking for a good medical college with decent fees structure since we all know Medical Colleges demand really high fees. I dropped a year so that I can fulfil my dreams and get into a good Medical College. Despite my best efforts my NEET score was average but good enough to get me into this college. I wasn’t sure at first, however, after going through the college’s prospectus, I thought it would be just the right place for me considering its nominal fees and Alumni groups.

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS, Novartis and Cognizant are regular recruiters of our college. The placements of the college are decent as compared to other Medical Colleges. We are also provided with numerous internship opportunities.
