Mayank's Review On University Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Maharshi Dayanand University - [UIET], Rohtak

Entrance Preview :

AIEEE I scored 60 marks and the reason for opting this college is this is one the govt. College with civil engineering in my state and it is located in my hometown.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was nice we had plenty of lab work and site visits. There were many subjects like surveying, structure analysis, building construction and materials etc.

Internships Opportunities :

I opted for a training session for 4 months and I learned ample related to my field. There were not so many companies that visited our college so I have to search for the company off campus.

Placement Experience :

There were two companies that visited my campus as my batch was the first to pass out that's why the two companies. One of them was kalindi rail nirman which offered a package of 3.5 lakh. I was able to get to the interviews round but wasn't able to get the placement.

College Events :

There were many events that were organised in my college like youth fest, techno fest, kavi samelan and many sport activies. My college was able to get many prizes in those events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is affordable it is 60 thousand per year. Which means it was around 30 thousand per semester. Plus there is an examination fee of rupees 1000 which is additional to the above fee per semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college offers fee redemption to much extends for the scheduled caste students and Tution fee waiver. There is also a scholarship offered to those students whose parents are working in the college.

Exam Structure :

Some time it was hectic or we can say some time it was just chill out. Labarotery of some subject was good and made our day very much hectic And for some subjects it wasn't that hectic. Some subject don't have labs so I have nothing to say.

The placement status of the in Bandhu chotu Ram University of Science and technology is quite poor and it is getting poor day by day because less companies visit the campus for on campus placement so mostly the students have to look up to or look for of campus placements or other career options like Gate cat or other government examination

Infrastructure of our college is pretty amazing we have a huge campus, we have blocks from A to Q block. We have total of 7 canteens in the whole campus, 2 medical rooms, a central lawn and a total of 4 libraries in which students can study peacefully. Remarks:

Situated on the Delhi Jaipur highways, Starex, an UGI grants college is a haven for studies regarding any discipline, you name it, with an excellent faculty base and placement record. It equally supports sports and cultural talent apart from academics.
