- Faculty is great experienced and includes PhD holders the mathematics department and physics department are the best the lab is a bit old but the equipment is still well and good
- Sports department is really great even if they don't have much of a big ground the football team is great the department focuses on every sport equally Evel on individual sports like boxing and Archery
Dislikes
- The college has NCC which causes a lot of problems for normal students but it is great for once who opt ncc
- Library has books related to core science only
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course should be easy if you have studied well in your 11th and 12th and if not then just attend the lectures this is just for 1st year from 2 nd year if you have studied well in 1st year your 2nd years going to be easy same goes for the 3rd year the exam schedule is to long as there are internal and external for both theory and practicals
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For grant students the fees is 12000 for first year in bsc and it reduces by 2000 every year the professors for my course are great mostly PhD holders or the ones with high research experience this college is a great choice if you want to perceive research the faculty was the core reason due which I chose Garware over fergusson and sp college
Campus Life :
The campus is average the social life here is not something you should expect even though once you make 3 to 4 friends it's all well and good , there are various clubs and groundyou can can also join ncc , nss , red cross physics club etc
Admission :
I was actually aspiringto join iiser pune but failed to do so my rank was 8963 and I didn't wanted to take a drop to peruse research after that for bsc i applied to Fergusson, Garware , SP college etc . But when I talked to the passed out students who are in the research field they told me that among all Garware has the best faculty and research space
Faculty :
The faculty for bsc is really good even for the arts department the faculty is good they are all experienced and most of the faculty have their research papers and articles printed they are all highly cooperative and helpfull
